You could be right. However, do we know the tape is from congress? Was the tape recorded that day or a different day? Who is telling us the truth? But even more important, is anyone in Washington telling us the truth?

I think, the people giving us information are in Washington, so they are liars. From Trump, Biden, Mitchel, Pelosi, all the way to the homeless on Washington's streets, are all liars. We will never know the truth.

The ultimate result of this strongly supported conspiracy is to give politically swayed people one more incompatible and unresolvable position against each other. All democrats' and all republicans' who make their money from the federal government want this conspiracy.

All of the Washington elite need us to take a conspiracy position, take a position over the 15 million Pelosi spent on ink pins to sign Trumps impeachment, take a position on new felony charges on Trump, take a position over where the COVID virus originated, take a position on when life begins and when we can terminate a pregnancy by choice.

None of those positions can ever truly be resolved or reveal the truth.

The Washington elite need us to fight to keep us from voting in freshman politicians.

Lets replace all Washington Politian's with people who have never been to Washington. Lets make sure that the people we send to Washington only trust us... the people who voted for them.

Then why did the juries find the defendants guilty in court trials and why did so many defendants plead guilty to charges? Were they kangaroo courts? Did those pleading guilty have poor legal representation?

Those that entered the Capitol peacefully and broke no other laws than trespassing were not charged with felonies. Those that committed felonies suffered the consequences.

As far as somebody flashing a badge goes, it could be a fake badge, or could be a real badge, for say somebody who is in a public office, a TSA agent, a fire marshal, a postal inspector, or some gas lit conservative who was on the bus that got him to January 6th, and was pushing his weight around thinking that a badge would get him off. Regardless - without knowing the person by name or seeing a close-up of that badge we just don't know anything more than what you can see.

Well, no Dilbert, that was a response to your post. Look at the motive. The main person who had a motive to instruct the FBI and other federal agencies to remove barriers, gaslight, and deny more security was Trump. I'd be very surprised if Trump did that though.

I think Texassapper has an intriguing idea, that federal law enforcement agents who believed the 2020 election was stolen, were involved and helped instigate the very-short occupation of the Capitol building. I believe that's very unlikely too, although possible.

The most likely theory is that this was a demonstration that got out of hand, perhaps in part because of true believers like some of the Proud Boys and Oathkeepers. If there were federal agents in the crowd, who had infiltrated the Proud Boys or Oathkeepers, they would have been gathering intelligence and building relationships, not instigating a riot inside the Capitol.

If you believe there's a deep state controlled by opponents of Trump, why on God's Green Earth would it create conditions that would potentially enabled Trump to remain in the presidency past January 20, 2021?
