Laura Gómez, former head of localization for Twitter, says Elon Musk
owning Twitter is one of the greatest threats to American elections.

She really means the libtards being able to cheat to steal elections through suppression of news and information

You can have a loudspeaker and a sign outside of a government office, or in a public park, but you are only allowed to do this in a private space (in a privately owned building, private land, internet site) at the discretion of the owner of that private forum.

So if Elon buys twitter, he'll be able to do whatever he wants, say whatever he wants, ban whoever he wants, because it is his private forum. Likewise, Twitter was 100% in their right (they had the right to do it) to ban Trump, as well as ban disinformation at their leisure.

So when Elon is now the new owner of Twitter, watch out to see people getting deleted there if they give him bad publicity. Nothing has changed, except instead of a group of people leading it and making decisions, it will be one guy, who is more or less, a celebrity who games the market based off of his own publicity.
... Good post, mate... Surely GLAD you're still posting here.

Maybe Musk WON'T delete anybody and it REALLY WILL be
Free Speech.

Never say never.
Trump has financial reasons to push his Truth Social
But if he runs on 2024, I bet he will be back on Twitter

You know who you're talking about? He might not ban people for politics, but I believe he absolutely will ban people for the benefit of his stock and crypto manipulation

I don't care who owns the damned bird....

But I'm not going to be pleased if Musk's "Freedom of Speech" is not extended to sex workers. Its already hard enough to tiptoe around on that site.

He'll do whatever he can to make more money. Spending 40 something billion on a website is the least of his worries Musk acts like he is the people's man, but he is right next to Bezos and the other billionaires in hell. Nothing good is going to come around from a billionaire doing whatever they want.

... THAT surely may be, mate.

But one thing's for sure - Twitter was NOT "Free Speech" with
those same caretakers on... NOW it just might get to be
"Free Speech" under Musk. ... That's the result I surely want to see.

Wrong - a whole lot of good already occurred. Today was a glorious day to watch all the libtards lose their shit over Musk buying Twitter. Fucking glorious

And as Salty noted - there was no free speech for conservatives from the corrupt libtard regime that had been running Twitter. But there was Twitter working actively to rig elections for Senile Biden and other libtards by suppression of real news. So it really can't get any worse and anything Musk does will be for the better.

It's not like one should fear that Elon Musk could undermine the ideological diversity, equity and inclusion at Twitter which currently maintains a careful balance of 98.7% for one side.

You do not know what you are talking about, so I'm going to kindly ask you to stop when you don't understand that the first amendment is not applicable to a private forum.

The first amendment was never enforced on twitter because it was a private forum. That's why Trump was banned from it.
The first amendment still doesn't need to be enforced on twitter when Elon owns it, because it is still a private forum.

CAN free speech be allowed on a private forum? Yes, absolutely. Does it need to be? No.

Ask yourself this, is the Government silencing you from talking in public? If yes, they are violating your first amendment right. But Twitter is not public.

If that’s the case, they need stripped of the legal protections they’re granted as a free and open platform.

Corporations being forced to support the liberal agenda is a problem. The fact that Twitter censored anything going against anything liberal is scary because many people unfortunately use social media as their only source of news. I think this is fantastic for the citizens of this country who have been solely exposed to liberal propaganda. As a side note… I’m also glad to see Florida push back at Disney! We all have different beliefs and are entitled to our opinions but there has been way too much information being labeled as dangerous or misinformation lately.
