I don't think this is shady.. My gut is telling me..
Maybe this guy lives somewhere else and comes here to visit his family. He doesn't have access to a car while he is here. He seems like he is a super shy person. I'm curious why he wants to experience Greek during his first time (as posted in a previous post). Other than that, I just think he is a very inexperienced man. That's not a bad thing, not everyone's lives revolve around sex. Perhaps he has a very serious religious upbringing.
I could be totally wrong, but I am getting the vibe that this guy is just very inexperienced.
Sometimes if you read the persons previous posts you can get a feel for them.
Whatever the case, if the guy is trying to get laid for the first time, pat him on the back, his life will never be the same.
In re to deposits: they happen all of the time and in various ways. You guys wouldn't drive three hours to see a girl with no reviews.. Well, maybe you might, but.... A girl isn't going to travel super far to see a guy who has no reputation without a deposit. Plenty of very successful ladies require deposits for every single date. Everyone runs their business differently and the men either say ok and do it or say they aren't comfortable with it and find someone else.
