Funny you mention Faux News- and just to let you know the economist panelist were from both political sides and even the GOP economist said that running the country and a business are drastically different.

Your title says it all, WE! While the rest of the country is looking for a "president", all you Kool Aid sucking saps on the left are looking for is a "politician".

Oh, I forgot his one qualification. He has mastered the art of reading a Teleprompter.
oh yeah and Sarah Palin was so qualified- from being a mayor of that huge city- to being Governor of a state that has like 1/15th the population of NY or CA- to seeing Russia from her yard, but she potentially was a heartbeat away- oh don't let me get started on Herman Cain.

Let's see Reagan- who in case you didn't know started out as a Democrat- prior to running for Governor of California had no political experience and was known for being a Hollywood actor- guess that didn't turn out too ba now did it? I can name tons of leaders/president from almost any country that didn't have huge prior political experience.
I thought you Tea-partiers didn't want Washington insiders??? Paul Ryan is what 41 or 42- yet he's been in Washington over half his life- jeez you people are something else.

You are quick to criticize, but when someone asks you what qualifications Obama has, all you can do is attack. Seriously, see your doctor.

willards business experience forces him to lie ... if that qualifies him then yes, hes qualified.

look at his records as a governor

he says he didnt raise taxes yet he raised corporate taxes ...

he boasts about unemployment yet his record was worse than the Gov before and after his term

and if you like higher gasoline prices, hes on record raising state delivery fees X4 ..

just a business, MAN, just a business ....

You are being kind of hypocritical. On one hand you say you can list many leaders who had zero political experience prior to gaining a prominent place in the political arena. You refuse to tell us what obama's qualifications are or were in 2008 and yet you claim Romney is not qualified. Pretty silly argument.

As far as a bet. Here is what I am willing to bet you. $500 on the outcome of the election. I take Romney and you get the rest of the field. The debt needs to be settled in either SA or Austin. When the bet is settled each side can bring a witness from Eccie if they wish. The wager can be made right here in the open forum. I'm not agreeing to disabling this account. I think the wager needs to be settled by inauguration day 2013. Let me know.

Hold on when did I say Romney was not qualified??? He was a former Governor- he ran for Senator- what I said was the fact that Romney was an ex-CEO and he tells that to everyone who is in listening distance that because he ran a business he knows how to run an economy and I said that is BULLSHIT and so did the economist on NPR- who were both from political sides- they agreed that being CEO doesn't mean you will be a great POTUS or that you will do a remarkable job handling the economy.

I agree to the bet if you put your account on the line because one of us needs to go bye bye- but if you are stern on not putting up the wager than I will agree strictly on the financial aspect. Also, the bet can be settled via Western Union- I don't know exactly where in Texas you live but San Antonio and Austin are both 3 hours away from me- Western Union or PayPal is much easier do you not agree??

He's had a record of profiteering ... Gaming the system and hurting the very people he wants to lead. He's run a small business ... Into the ground.

I haven't bankrupted as many companies as Romney, but I do care about 53% of you!

Member of the US Senate. President of the United States. Legally born US citizen. and a badass motherfucker.

Yeah, I'll take that any day over a greedy, job exporting, robber baron.

You ought to see my doctor, Bichita Whineman. He'll accept Medicare patients.

I'm not putting up my account and I'm not doing the Western Union or Paypal. The reason is I want a witness on the payment or collection. Let's just say I lose and I send you the $$ and you come here and claim I never made payment. Not acceptable. I aIways pay my bets so if any of you in the SA or Austin ara want to make a wager let me know. will make this bet with anyone in the SA or Austin area.

It's hard for me to think of anyone less qualified to be President than a businessman. Maybe a maintenance man? Or a car mechanic? But I see very few skills that a CEO possesses that are required of a President.
