The first red flag for the nature of Obamacare was a townhall meeting in 2008. A woman told Obama that her elderly mother recently got a pacemaker implanted. She asked Obama if his proposed medical plan would have provided a pacemaker for an old person. Obama told her that, under his plan, her mother would be given some pain pills and sent home.
The government can not deliver anything efficiently. The only way cost can be controlled in a socialized system is by rationing. That's what socialized medical systems have been doing for decades, all over the world.
The boomers will be reaching old age in a collapsed economy with a socialized healthcare system. I predict the government will be providing free euthanasia for millions.
