A lot of ladies just do not want to be in the hobby for a long run. Just in and out, get a few dollars, and forget about it. If they need money now, it is a thing they can ignore tomorrow as if it never happened.

Where did you see the statistics that verify your claim that "foodie dates" are happening at an increasing rate?

Foodie dates is a new term where a female will accept a date with you to get a free meal. More females are hearing about the trend and are willing to do it as time passes. But i assume as more guys are aware of it, the tend might decrease.

Foodie dates have always been around. Women play guys for a date for food and a movie (play, music show, or whatever) evening with no intention of anything in return. It can cost a lot of money to keep playing that game.

So, don't do it. Save your money for what you want: 1. just pussy 2: a lady to develop a relationship with without spending a ton of money shopping.

What to do: don't take more women out on dates to only find out that they are crazy bitches. Spend your time with social groups, square dancing is a suggestion. You can meet a lot of women in social groups and talk to them at no charge. It is a process of elimination; you will fine one who is very attractive, but dumb as a door knob. Would you want a dumb door knob to raise your children to be dumb door knobs? If not, move on.

Finding a quality partner for life is much more important than sex for only the present - where you might get caught.

It is the hardest decision in your life, and remember to throw away the girls that do not meet your requirements.

I have been married three times, and all three have been wonderful intelligent women. Take your time, and pick properly: it is your life. A bad selection in woman has ruined the life of many men.

I dont have any stats to back it up, but I can tell you from personal experience on vanilla dating sites that the free meal gig has been going on a long time.
I started changing my vanilla dating habits about 10 years ago. Keep in mind guys this is totally different than the hobby.
In the vanilla scene, I never buy dinner for someone on a first meeting. Since it's about dating with a goal of LTR, I use the old Reagan approach: trust but verified. Odd habit our world has gotten into that we have to eat a meal to meet someone. I consider the first meeting different than the first date in that regard.
Previously, I remember paying for a woman's (yes, a woman is not necessarily a lady) meal on the first meeting only for her to tell me via text after we left she wasn't interested.
