I agree with this. Every couple and every relationship is different. We live in a time when the "traditional" ideas of relationships no longer apply.

I have non-hobby friends who consider themselves "poly" and may be in a relationship but play with others, or I even know 2 people (a guy and a girl) who have a 3rd "girlfriend" that lives with them.

It's not for everyone, but they are happy, so I don't judge. There are all kinds of lifestyles, and therefore relationship styles, out there.

Now, for myself; I am single and do not currently desire to be in a relationship. I enjoy being single and having the freedom to provide and/or fuck whomever I chose, in my personal life.

If I ever do get to the point where I am ready for a relationship again, or do happen to meet the right person, then I will definitely retire, if I wasn't already. And I've decided that I won't tell my new partner about this part of my life either. If I quit then it is none of his business and holds no bearing on our relationship.

However, as said, everyone is different and every couple is different. I think you just need to do some serious soul searching and decided for yourself, if her coming back to this is something you can handle and will be comfortable with.

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks or says or does. It is all about your personal comfort level.

When I met my ex I turned my back on the hobby. Well, the first month I was still hobbying behind his back. It was hard having intense passionate love making for two hours, then still have to go home and do the same thing with my man. It was draining. I didn't have to hobby at all, he was taking care of me and helping with tuition etc. So, I decided to quit.

This is different, since money is tight. I think you should have a long conversation about it with her. It sounds like it bothers you. It's nice that you support her no matter what, but if you will lose sleep over it then perhaps explore other solutions, if any. Good luck.

Do your self a favor and do not get too emotionally involved or get away from the hobby. Even the providers are verifying what I have said. Anita did it behind her man's back, and he probably sensed it. But realize it is an open marriage meaning he fucks whomever he chooses whenever he wants as well. How would your new love feel about you hooking up and seeing whores still? The answer or response to that question will say a lot to you. She may respond with "I do it for cash, not for pleasure." (indicating it is okay for her to do it but not you). But as you can see it is very difficult to not have some emotions for long term regulars. She works with the guy every two weeks or however often she sees him, cannot help but have at least friendship feelings. And providers have explained feeling guilty about getting attached to hobbyists. Problem you have is that she has been a whore before and so she knows the money is easy and quick. Watch indecent proposal if you have not already and see that Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore learn to not care about the money so much after the act was preformed, it is their love that matters most. If you want that strong love and do not communicate about all these concerns openly and honestly then you are heading for a disaster. You are already showing maturity, integrity and openness by not letting her past disrupt your relationship, so live in the present and go make a good future. Do not wait, do not wonder, go to her, take her, never let her go and never come back here. You will be happier for it.
