Wow, two things we agree on in one day. Sort of, anyway.
Romney isn't Perry or Santorum. As we've seen in the past month, he's got enough sense to realize that flip-flopping back towards the center is the way to get his numbers up...and to get elected. Adopting TP positions and going along with the TP whackos in the house hurts him with the middle and the independents. That's true now, it will be true if he gets elected. There will also be some more moderate republicans in the house who, if Romney gets elected, will be more willing to go along with the compromise budget positions that will be necessary for the GOP to adopt in order to get the Democratic senate to go along. And forget about the senate, it stays dem...the numbers don't add up for the repukes there.
What's amusing is that idiots like Whirly don't seem to realize that their silly little crazy political party's interests would best be served if Obama is re-elected. Hate, racism and intolerance is the fuel the Tea Party runs on and without Obama to focus all that nastiness on, they'll sink into oblivion. Which would be the one thing all of the non-insane among us could be thankful for in the event of a Romney win.
