I think this was a particularly rude comment, but not unexpected. The same question can be asked of you and others of your persuasion, why haven't you done anything about the left-wing whackos who are runing our country financially and morally?

I can only answer for myself. But first I'd like to know the question. Did you mean to type "running" or "ruining"? And what wackos are you talking about?

RUNNING: If you're asking about government officials elected by the MAJORITY of Americans, like President Obama, then I'd argue that he's CLEANING UP a mess that was left for him by the right-wing wackos in the previous administration. We're now technically out of the Bush recession, btw.

RUINING: If you're asking about other people, please name them. You might be surprised. I might agree with you. But some of them might just be ruining the country only in your (minority) opinion. Please keep in mind that I view most religious people that believe in things that don't exist as a little bit insane. That even applies to Democrats. IMO, all of the religious folk are zealots. (Just try and point it out to them and see what happens. lol)

MORALS: Are you serious? Are you really going to post that on this board? How are the Democrats responsible for YOU banging hookers, exactly? Morals is a BS word anyway. It is vague and open to interpretation. It's also assumed that you need to have religion in you to have good morals. You don't. At all.

RUDE: Yep. I can be rude. I spend most of my time being nice to people and not getting in their business. That's all anyone has to do if they want peace in the world. It works better than most religions. Everybody seems to like it. But I only like to reward that niceness to nice people. Fools and idiots get my rude side. Because they deserve it.

I'm a registered Republican, but I've come to the conclusion that they're both the same. At least the Republicans tend to tax less, but both parties are statists...hence my Republocrat avatar. I guess I'm a Ron Paul Republican.

It looks to me as though Phelps started out as a conservative and ended up as an ultra-conservative. He calls himself a Democrat, but that party has changed even more than Phelps has. He just refuses to leave his party, even though his party has left him. (Phelps is old. He was born in 1929.)

As far as Phelps running for office...he lost five primaries. Hell, I could do that! YOU could do that! I could run as a Republican and lose a primary election. Would that make me representative of the Republican Party? No.

P.S. If I really ran for office my slogan would be, "let sinners pay taxes for you" and I'd be for legalized prostitution and legalized marijuana. Clever, no?
