what difference does it make? this election coming up has enormous implications for the future direction of the Country, as does this Court Nominee.
besides, the Constitution doesn't say anything about stalling during Presidential election years.

The Constitution does specify that it's the Senate's business to confirm, but it does not specify every nominee has to be entertained. Meanwhile, Senate rules DO say that information such as that held by Feinstein will be introduced BCD, discussed, investigated and communicated to the nominee giving that person an honorable way to back out, if prudent to do so, without being smeared publicly by the press. The dims are a miserable lot.

but the real point is, no matter how low and disgusting the Democrats may be, at least Kavanaugh is getting a hearing. Obama's choice was never afforded ANY CHANCE

OBama knew the Republicans would enact the so called “Biden Rule”. Garland was a moderate judge, not Obama’s cup of tea. So it was OBama that played Garland. He wanted to make Republicans look bad for not giving a moderate judge a hearing. If it were 2 years earlier, OBama would have nominated a Sotamyor clone

Hypocritical politics at its finest. But I am sure in this case the RWWs on here will have some truly creative arithmetic to back up their point. Just like we are supposed to believe he kept his authentic and complete date books from school.
Just as the LWWs will have many justifications about why these accusations did not surface when K's name was first put out there. And BS about an FBI investigation that will find almost nothing definitive whether he is guilty or not. His supporters will lie or conveniently forget in one direction, his detractors will lie or conveniently forget in the other.
Neither side cares about the quality of the nominee (as exemplified by the bogus excuses for not releasing far more info from his writings). It is all about the days to election and "winning".

You don't understand at all--the difference is the RWWs LIKE this nominee. That is all the difference they need in their minds.

True. But I am not sure what that has to do with withholding so much of K's writings, OR with the game-playing the Dems are doing with the timing of the accusations and the FBI investigation request.
Release the papers, hear the accusers, hear K, and vote. The people deciding should have the info on K's actually thoughts, and the vote should not be held hostage to bogus stall tactics.

I agree with that. I disagree with your statement that neither side cares about the qualifications. At least Republicans vote for the Democrats nominees. No drama. The Republicans never Borked a judge, never lynched a judge or smeared a judge.

I find it difficult to believe the female accusers, because as this (and every) political thread amply demonstrates, every Rapeublican you’ll ever meet is secretly an enormous faggot.

Exactly, and you’re a man who sucks a lot of dicks in a redneck shithole only known to the civilized world for two things: EDIT - WU Ken Starr systematically abetting the rape of college kids.
