Just in case you’re wondering (Salty I know you weren’t because ignorance is bliss) the right track/wrong track this time in 2018 was 40/60. That was with this supposedly great economy yall wax nostalgic about. Right now it’s 27/73 with the worst economy the US has ever had (according to some of you on the right). It was 32/68 a week ago. If you think right track wrong track has anything to with Biden, you’re likely in for a big surprise.

Biden’s current approval is 42 with 53 disapproval. Even Rasmussen has him at 44. This time 4 years ago I bet you don’t know what Trump’s was, (Salty, in case you are not up on “the polls”) 38 with 56 disapproval. Now how could that be. He had the greatest economy to have ever existed.

See “polls”.

he's under water. and he started with a record (false) rating. the question remains .. why is he now under water and sinking like the Titanic?

You’re surely kidding right. Ukraine, economy, etc. it’s all dragging him down. But guess what, at the same time as the last guy, he’s still doing better.

nope. millions of illegals flooding in. on Biden's doing. the invasion of Ukraine would never have happened under Trump because he vastly increased oil drilling in part on Federal land, which Biden vastly reduced, enabling Vlad poots's oil profits to fuel his war machine.

Biden's war against US energy production is one of the many reasons his poll numbers suck.

didn't happen under Trump's watch. did happen under Biden's watch. explain.

thank you valued poster.

Ummm, nope. That’s got nothing at all to do with why or how the invasion happened. But believe what you like. Not like facts matter to you.

show me they are "much higher" than Trump's.

and couch that post on the fact that Trump's were low before he even entered office due to the relentless FALSE negative press while Biden's were historically high based on the same false press.
I have been very upfront about Biden's poll numbers. He is not doing well. But he is still doing better than Trump. Trump's rating dropped 5 points immediately after the election and has dropped further since then.

Biden, as of today, at 42.4% approval rating:

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...proval-rating/

Trump approval rating at 34% from poll taken 9/18/22:

'A new NBC News poll released Sunday found that 34 percent of registered voters said they have a positive view of Trump, while 54 percent say they have a negative view of him. Trump’s favorability rating was at its lowest in April 2021, when his rating fell to 32 percent in the same NBC poll.

The former president’s favorability score is down slightly since last month, with the same 54 percent saying they have a negative view of Trump, but 36 percent saying they had a positive view of him.'

You do realize that we will produce more oil this year than in any of Trump's years in office except for 2019. And in 2023 estimates are we will produce a record amount of oil.

"US oil production remains on track for a record 2023 even as output grows more slowly than anticipated amid surging costs and labor shortages in America’s shale fields."

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...nflation-bites

And no, Biden did NOT reduce oil drilling on federal land. Early on Biden stopped issuing NEW leases on federal land for a short period of time but that was temporary and new leases are being approved.

https://thehill.com/policy/energy-en...federal-lands/

So your statement that the invasion of the Ukraine would not have happened under Trump due to oil production in this country is wrong.

The lowest of the low! The BOTTOM 40% of the class. The future welfare state recipients. Law breakers and benefactors of bail bond reform. Mole people.

What you are looking at, the 40% approval is an over all rating but when you break it down to specific issues like inflation and crime, Biden's numbers go into the 30's. It is only when you include his so called handling of Covid ( which should tell you something in and of itself ) and a couple of other issues like abortion that poll well with Democrats does he get into the 40's.

So when you ask voters what they are most concerned about, you usually get economy/ inflation and crime as leaders and Biden is polling in the 30's on these issues.

And now, weeks away from mid terms, even Nancy Pelosi recognizes Biden's handling of the border is hurting Democrats and Mark Kelley, running to keep his Senate seat said he told Biden that his border policy was "Dumb", and I told him that said Kelley. Democrats are fleeing Biden on some individual issues and those issues just happen to be the most important ones for voters.

Approval ratings are done the same way independent of who they are rating. Biden has a higher approval rating than Trump based on how the people being polled view the issues. All the issues. I doubt anyone being asked to rate Biden today thinks aboout how well he did on the Covid pandemic.

I agree that Biden's handling of the border issue has a lot to be desired, but I also disagreed with Trump's immigration policies. The problems at the border will impact elections in 2 states -- Arizona and Texas. It is a minor issue for others in Pennsylvania and other states.

Oh I think New York, Washington DC and Illinois would disagree. The mayor of New York city is having fits and the mayor of Washington DC brought out the National Guard to help with the illegals. They have declared *gasp* - a state of emergency in their cities. I don't think that it's a minor issue for states other than Texas or Arizona but oh well. We shall see how this plays out with Biden's approval numbers. The more illegals that are sent up north - the more Biden's numbers will sink.
