You and COG try and blame everything that has happened in the past and will continue to happen in the future on Obamacare. That is the lie you spin. Doctors have always prefered cash. I ought to know, I have paid cash for my healthcare for 15 years, that includes two operations.
What COG is trying to do is blame a Hurricane on Obamacare....he fails to understand that there were hurricanes in the past and will be so in the future.
To make it easier for you think of it in terms of GW. COG is like one of the GW'ers blaming the next hot day on GW'ing!

GW, Hurricanes ???????????
You have lost your mind.
Deny, lie, obfuscate, stonewall, name call......................
Yesterday I posted a similar story line on Obamacare and the Obama Sequester cuts causing cancer treatment patients to be denied/turned away................
The same cast of characters came out to defend Obamacare; denying the Washington Post story (despite quotes from clinic operators around the country). They tried to defend Obama with the same tactics - they are imbeciles.

Completely free markets are terrible. Those types of markets lead to monopolies and price gouging of consumers who have no other options.
Especially in a commodity as essential as health care, do you really want providers banding together to set prices? Health care is also different from other markets in that when you need it the most, you have the least amount of time to shop around for better prices. When you get shot by some dude with a Bushmaster, you're not going to turn around and look for another ER to patch you up because you don't like their prices.

A completely free market is a market with no regulation, just like what it sounds like.
So what you're saying is that you're actually in favor of regulations?

Yeah, but you idiots still haven't admitted the Obamacare is not yet fully implemented and that it's birth is only a half-assed attempt to address the most wasteful, inefficient healthcare system in the civilized world.
The plan was crippled and compromised into that which you fools now use as your whipping boy for all this healthcare.
Nor have you admitted that the US healthcare market is driven be the supplier, not the individual consumer. To your mind, a united consumer base would be socialism.
If things were so perfect beforehand, why try to reform health care at all?
I suppose you think it was and we didn't need to.
Sorry, you boys can't honestly be so memory challenged. I don't believe you are. I do believe you're spinning bullshit.

Reasonable regulations yes; regulations that empower individuals and consumers. NOT a highly regulated market in which government bureaucrats are the major determinant.

You opine like Obamacare is the only solution; in fact it is a worse solution...............only a Socialist/Marxist would think Obamacare is a step in the right direction - Not including those who have no political perspective and just think Obama can do no wrong, or those who want more free shit from taxpayers !

Maybe you could offer to trade some chickens for a flu shot. The ladies here have something to trade already.

Lets take this one at a time so we can all be very clear about your (ahem) position on this issue:
1) Do you believe that the American system of health care delivery was out of control and needed change?

On this, we can agree upon. I also believe that the best markets are ones that are a mix of regulations and a free market with regulations to protect the consumers.
Too much and too little regulation is bad.
Of course, as they say, the devil is in the details (determining exactly how much regulation in a market is good for it).

there is no reasonable form of regulation ... either you have rules everyone plays by or you don't. The rightwing simpletons bitch about government control with every breath, then say well, ok, maybe a little government control wont hurt ... yeah, that's how wishy-washy these idgets really are. This entire thread is a contradiction of their own beliefs ... COF and JD in particular.

Oh, no I definitely believe that if there's a regulation, it should apply to everyone. It's just the number/amount of regulations needed people tend to differ on.
Yeah, some people just want no regulation at all and I find that pretty nuts.

Trying to pin these fence sitters down is like nailing jello to a wall. They want no regulations...no they want reasonable regulations...and they are the only ones who determines wtf is reasonable!
