Every politician should read 'Profiles in Courage' by JFK at least annually. We, as the electorate, need to insist on term limits to rid ourselves of the career politician.
You're right idiots is an over simplication . H.W. was his naïveté ! Clinton his corrupt ness ! G.W. not the brightest - influenced by two of the evilest ! Obama naive with dumbass socialist tendencies ! All are smart enough to lead pathetic sleeping idiots .

Well dennis, there are really only two choices here:

1) Reject the apology (for something said 10 yrs ago in anger by 1 idiot) and alienate the entire SKorean population (our long time ally)

2) Accept the (well worded) apology and Unify our bond with SKorea (heal & repair)

Personally, I don't like Obama, but I believe he made the correct choice in the best interest of our nation in this case. United we stand, divided we fall.

Topic2 - We need to get rid of the electoral college and elect our President based on true majority vote, only then will the President truly reflect the American people.

Who cares about majority vote when the majority are mindless automatons. There should be an intellegence minimum. A common sense test. I think that would rule out most Democrats and some Republicans too.

Get out the vote?? That means bus in the morons. We are screwed.

Vote issues and then people!!! and NOT Party!! Today's political scene = The Party must win , damn the American people, the Party must win!!-that's all modern politicians understand- their main goals,1) get elected, 2) get re-elected-that is why I am an independent-vote issues and then the person, regardless of political party- the definition of socialism is government owns all businesses- no privately owned busines and that is NOT THE CASE IN THE USA TODAY!!!! I hate all politicians- one term and out you go, never to return in ANY political office-Thank you! I feel much better now.

Government owns GM (just to save the union contracts), government is moving into the healthcare business, government controls many other businesses. Ugh

Mods, please forgive this late reply, but I feel that I must reply to Rocket 210.
Rocket: What do you mean - No Education??? Barack Obama graduated from Princeton, and got his law degree (magna cum laude!) from Harvard. Michelle Obama graduated from Columbia and received Her law degree from Harvard!! Seems like a Lot of education to me.

I, too, completely agree with you. I came from a military family, served in Vietnam (first unit "Vietnamized" 9 months before the media coined the term), had to deal with ARVN ground support in our AO next to Laos and Cambodia, had lots of casualties, and mainly got ignored because the Nixon administration wanted it to appear that the South Vietnamese could handle the NVA. Bullpuckey! But through all of this crap, Nixon was still my Commander-in-Chief, and I was a soldier under his command, bound by orders and responsible to my battery mates for carrying my share of the load.

The current situation in this country is the result of attitudes like "Your president". If you don't like the way the Constitution is written either have it amended or move somewhere else. We need to pull together (like my unit did - finest group of men I have ever known...) to solve the massive problems we are facing. Either get on board or get busy swimming in some other direction.
