Seems to be a bit of conflict with ADP. They report a private payroll decline of 2.76 million.

It's now been revealed that Trump put out a falsified jobs report for May. Unemployment is actually 16.3% - not the 13.3% Trump bragged about. White House claims it was a "miscalculation error"

We can agree on how expensive IHOP is. I only go there for breakfast. I usually get the 2x2x2, Two pancakes, two scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon and a glass of orange juice comes to $10.00 without the tip. You get a better deal at Denny's. However, I like IHOPS pancakes better.

Unemployment Rate Would Have Been 3 Percent Higher in May If Furloughed Were Included

Despite reports that the unemployment rate had fallen in May amid the coronavirus pandemic, not all furloughed workers were classified as "unemployed." Had they been counted, the rate would have risen by 3 percent.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released unemployment data for May on Friday morning. The official unemployment rate for May was 13.3 percent, down 1.4 percent from April's rate of 14.7 percent.

However, according to the BLS, furloughed workers should be classified as "unemployed on temporary layoff." A number of these workers were instead mistakenly classified as "employed but not at work." Though some people classified as "unemployed on temporary layoff" were correctly identified, the BLS estimates that about 4.9 million workers out of 5.4 million were erroneously listed as being employed.

But the same "problem" existed with April's numbers so the unemployment rates in both April and May should have been higher, but May's numbers STILL would have been an improvement over April's number. So the numbers are moving in the right direction indicating a recovery. I know in Texas that many closed businesses are reopening and the capacity limits are rising. Good news.

Had these miscategorized workers been counted correctly, the BLS estimates the true unemployment rate would be 16.4 percent. While this adjusted rate is higher than April's official rate, the BLS says a similar misclassification happened in that month as well, and the adjusted rate for April would be 19.2 percent.

It's too bad that the "critics" of the BLS "calculations" were active during the 2000 fall before the 2000 elections when Clinton was trying to augment Gore's chances with rosey stats that were actually fabricated.

There was an increase in the persons employed in may vs. those unemployed in May.

All this other bullshit is an effort to make it appear that's not true.

This stupid shit has been ongoing for four years now .... it didn't work then and it won't work now ... really? Try to find something more creative for a change instead of using the old worn failed tactics. Next thing you all will be posting home many small businesses closed at the end of May and beginning of June ....

....without mentioning that were "closed" by DOMESTIC TERRORISM and other worthless scumbags.
