I don't let one person ruin an entire city for me. I didn't post this to start World War 3. I was genuinely trying to figure out what there was to do in Lubbock and thought someone who lived there might be able to answer me. Sorry for disruption.

Lubbock is not a party town like say Dallas. Loop 289 & the marsha sharp freeway areas are the places where there are restaurants and shopping centers. Alamo draft house is another place you can visit. But mostly it's restaurants and some shopping. Not a great nightlife city - don't know any good clubs worth visiting. And the strip club out here sucks and not in a good way lol ! Lubbock guys can chime in with more info for you!

Thank you! I don't drink or party when I'm on the road, so that's not a big deal to me. When I was here before there was a Saturday afternoon and evening horse sale out south of town. I brought my riding jeans and boots. I wear buckaroos to ride in.
