what kamala harris is said is contradictory...
she said busing harmed her when she little and she supports busing after the fact?
alot of people (black & white) were opposed to court mandated busing.

I grew up in Dallas in the early 70s when they had a desegregation order they tried to enforce by busing. The govt didn't have to-most of the white people with kids left in my area. The elementary school I went to almost 100% white to 90% black in three years.
Yeah, court ordered busing will be a vote winner and will administer the social justice this country needs. Not.

Judges think they can beat demographics with busing. but as you know, people vote with their feet. busing defeats the purpose of what they were trying to do. the South got stuck with forced busing for the longest time. the schools are now more segregated. they should have limited it to community school access issues, not the make up of the school's student body.
the busing destroyed most of the community schools in the south. the ones in the north, threw a major hissy fit which led to the changes in the busing law that Sen. Biden was part of.
