Providers and hobbyist how hard is it to stop and could you stop if you had too

I'm not sure. To quit all this would be easy. To stop seeing one woman in particular, extremely hard...I think she would have to retire or I would have to get a girlfriend.

I really only do the hobby as a stress relief. So for me I would think it would be very easy to quit. What I would have trouble with is giving up the community and forums. So informative and such a wide range of people.

I am trying to give it up myself. Its been only 4 months into it, but I decided to give it up. But lure is always there though. Even if I stray, I might only do the FBSM thing and not full service, at least thats what I am telling myself. So far have been on course for almost a month, we shall see how long I last staying off it

Well, I started dabbling with this while I was in a relationship. I was only doing body rubs however, and I had two different day jobs as my income. That was around a year ago, currently I have a couple day jobs still but I am single now. Since I'm not in that relationship anymore, I too feel the need to have some male company from time to time. Being a provider does allow me to meet some cool people from diverse backgrounds, and that male company role is filled. I would never do something I didn't want to do and didn't enjoy, and I am not in this hobby for financial support, so I suppose I would ditch being a provider when I found this no longer enjoyable or if I entered into a serious relationship which gave me everything I needed concerning male company/attention/etc. This is just as we call it, a 'hobby'. Something to dabble in, enjoy, and sometimes become obsessed over for some. For me, it's not a daily revolving door act... just a good time on the weekend or a break from the constant college work.

Cutting way down has been easy - all I had to do was start paying tuition and living expenses for my two kids in college. And POOF - the hobby budget suddenly was gone...

If anyone ever has trouble, they could always take up the smoker and AA montra: "I am quitting for today." And then repeat it to themselves tomorrow.

Totally addicted. Short of being completely cut off from a smartphone and ATM card, I don't have a chance in hell....I rationalize by saying I don't gamble or do drugs! (drink like a fish though)

I'm just really getting going in the hobby but I feel like I could stop at any time. Hell, I did without the hobby for years so I think going back isn't impossible. Hard maybe... not impossible.
