This thread reminded me of a joke.

Bobby wanted to have sex with a girl in his office, but she belonged to someone else.

One day, Bobby got so frustrated that he went up to her and said, "I'll give you $100 if you let me screw you. But the girl said no.

Bobby said, "I'll be fast. I'll throw the money on the floor, you bend down, and I'll be finished by the time you pick it up."

She thought for a moment and said that she would have to consult her boyfriend. So she called her boyfriend and told him the story. Her boyfriend says, "Ask him for $200, pick up the money very fast, he won't even be able to get his pants down."

So she agrees and accept the proposal. Half and hour goes by, and the boyfriend is waiting for his girlfriend to call.

Finally, after 45 minutes, the boyfriend calls and ask her what happened?

"The bastard used coins!" she responded.

yeah this is kind of like the discussion on whether the hotel staff knows what you do (or cares), only more benign.

Obviously a deposit creates a paper trail but beyond that, believe me, people come in with all kinds of deposits. It could be proceeds from your son's bake sale at school or you could be a waitress at a steakhouse with tip money.

With the exception of a small town where everyone tries to know everyone's business, nobody cares....& if you are concerned about patterns, just go to different branches.

I've been using the "new" BoA ATMs for a couple of years now....but yeah so cool....not that people other than Jerry Springer pay with a check in this biz, but I love how I can deposit a check in the middle of the night and get a copy of the check and receipt....I forget how many bills the ATM will accept in a single transaction but it is a lot...again with a receipt

BoA Atms will take 40 bills of any denomination and you can mix em up. I always try to make at least $100 of my donation in $20s, but for multi hour visits 15-20 $20 bills can be a bit bulky.

Honey! It all spends the same. If you brought me $1 bills I might get a little aggravated but I probably wouldn't say anything. You would just have to sit there as I counted.

I would think this question is another example where common sense is the answer. If you had $500.00 in your pocket, what denominations would you find most convenient? (Contrived, anecdotal circumstances don't count.)
