Actually it's more ridiculous than that. Obama wants to bolster the Muslim's self esteem. Here's the actual quote from Bolden's interview with Obama's favorite news source, Al Jazeera:

Actually, I don't truck with extremists, American terrorists or Taliban. I've fortunately missed out on all the "9/11 was an inside job" bullshit. Of course, if it was, it was probably set up by Cheney behind Bush's back, and had the full approval and agreed upon silence by Fox, Limbaugh and Beck.
