Oh yes hang on to the receipt as Cindy's gave me gift cards then we found they were not any good. Thankfully they fixed the problem.

As a man, I would love the SPA treatment, even if a guy gave me a card for it. Of course by spa, I hope you mean one of the lovely Asian spa locations that reside on Emerald Street in Dallas where they exfoliate your skin with a loofah ( I would probably bring my own though, not too keen on the community one ) lol.

As for the ladies, well they might not feel like trading services but I doubt many girls are going to pass on a thoughtful present.

The only way I would feel comfortable giving her such a specific gift is if she expressed her skin woes with you. Even then it wouldn't be a surprise gift. It would be something I would offer to her out of friendship.

But some people are realistic about things. If I had bad skin, and you dropped that gift on me, I would be as happy as a clam. Why would I be mad at you for noticing I need extensive skin care?

The thought is wonderful regardless.

A girl doesn't have to have BAD skin to appreciate such treatments. They are very rejuvenating to any type of skin. When my economics were better (those dang chihuahuas are costing me too much now) I used to have a laser facial or a micro once a month, very good for evening, brightening, generally refreshing the skin. Every so often I give myself a micro or chemical peel with one of the many safe home kits on the market, not as effective but way less expensive than a professional treatment.

Like Athena said, ladies like to be pampered, and as others have mentioned, a "general" gift card to a spa would allow her to chose the services she wants. All the women I know would appreciate it and not think it insulting at all, just sweet.

You can always check a gals website, some of us have an Indulgence or Gift Page listing things we like and desire. Just a thought.
