Wow, that was slightly nasty. But that's about what I've come to expect from the locals there in NO. People who can't deal as an adult with opinions that differ from their own. As you can see, those that "live" there, have childish insulting responses and not one of them offered any legitimate insight to the original poster. In fact I have yet to read any advice about the area from anyone of these people. So basically that is my original point. People from there aren't the most "helpful" but have no problem issuing insults to anyone who genuinely offers a thread of a real answer. So you want to go to NOLA? Get used to this kind of behavior, it's common. I'd even go so far as to say that their responses are more a reflection of the area than my original post ever could be.

Nothing nasty about my reply. As Lily pointed out, Google is not always the word with regards to news. Some of those articles although tragic are dated. Using your Google research methods one is certain to find crime or dirt in any city he or she hobbies in.

With regards to the OP, the post puts the other providers and hobbyists at risk by posting where she is staying. Discretion is always a point of valor.

Last,since I hobby in Houston on a regular basis, maybe if you reread this thread you might be able to read between the lines. One of the great things about being involved with a hobby board is the sharing of information between members whether it be in open discussion or by pm. Since your are new to board and btw welcome, pm=private mail. Oh, OP=original poster.

With the exception of you and the OP, everyone who responded to this thread, to some degree I value their opinion. Doesn't matter whether I've seen the provider or not.

While there is no handbook on the right or wrong way to be an escort, there are guidelines that make sense to employ when centering your safety as well as the safety of clients who may book with you. After being on here for just shy of a year, it is saddening if it's the case that no one shared the hot tip with the OP to not post your exact address days in advance of your arrival date on a public online forum.

It seems C.A. feels lots of ways about New Orleans being a horrendous city to work in (even though this is an amazing fucking city and hoes are out here everyday making it work and having a blast while doing so!) but I hope she doesn't continue to erase the fact that this is a "safety" threAD and more than one provider spoke up about the OP's most obviously identifiable unsafe tactic. I'm not sure in what world it isn't helpful to remind/inform a provider that it's best to not share your exact address days in advance of your arrival date on a public online forum. Even if myself and others may have thrown in some snark or a funny meme to get the point across.

Personally, I think it's much more patronizing, and unhelpful to tell someone not to go to a whole city that they clearly seem interested in going to. I am from the area, and this description is not the NOLA I know and love. It just appears that people with intolerance seem to exist in great numbers on anonymous message boards, comment sections, and other social media venues. Don't know how people got to the point where someone with a differing opinion was someone to be attacked and discredited, almost to the point of enemy status; however, denigrating an entire city as done in this post isn't very fair to the city or its people, either. I think it has more to do with the egocentric and narcissistic nature of people in our country. There are very many good people here in New Orleans who embrace difference of opinion, amd goodness knows we know how to have a good time. To the OP, Please come and focus on those of us on the respectful side, which is damn near all of us. You will enjoy it, and thank you to all of the beautiful ladies on this board.
