Great post. Yeah I was on record during the primary not liking OZ as the candidate. That said, Fetterman the Fraud would be a disaster for our state and country. He is a far left socialist just like Bernie Sanders
And Dr Oz to his credit has continued to get out across the state and meet voters while Fraud Fetterman hides away in his basement like some other fraud we know now destroying the country
The latest example for Oz talking to voters:
In a series of stops throughout central Pennsylvania throughout the day Thursday, Dr. Mehmet Oz, a Republican candidate for the open U.S. Senate Seat in Pennsylvania, made one of those stops in Huntingdon County.
He spoke to restaurant patrons as well as members of the Huntingdon County Republican Committee at Checker’s Grill in Mount Union.
In traveling through central Pennsylvania, Oz called it the “heartland of Pennsylvania.”
“These folks have very firm values,” he said. “I talked to dairy farmers, cattle farmers, and fruit farmers. If you want to understand the values of Pennsylvania, you come to the middle of Pennsylvania.”
He challenged those to ask themselves if the country is heading in the right direction, as he believes that his Democratic challenger, current Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, will take this country in the wrong direction, as he believes current president Joe Biden is as well.
“Fetterman is going to take Joe Biden way further left,” he said. “He’s gotten behind folks who are on the radical left side of the Democratic party. We don’t want that to happen, because we have things we want to protect. We need to address the real problems in this country — the ones we get distracted from — and the only real way to do that is to focus on the issues that matter to the average voter in Pennsylvania.”
One way he believes he can help Pennsylvania is by using energy sources already available, such as natural gas.
“I believe we can have an all-of-the-above energy policy,” said Oz. “It would allow us, for example, to harvest natural gas under our feet in Pennsylvania and thrive. It would help our communities and our countries reduce our energy costs. Biden banned fracking, and Fetterman thinks that fracking is a stain on our country. He wants to regulate it out.”
One of the biggest issues he believes Pennsylvanians are currently facing is the cost of living.
“People are devastated, farmers particularly,” he said. “They don’t have the extra money to pay for the fuel for their tractor. Fertilizer prices are through the roof, all related to being able to get energy out of the ground. They’re livid because there’s natural gas beneath their feet and they can’t do anything about it.
“It’s one thing to have a problem you don’t know what to do about, but it’s another thing if you know exactly what to do about it, but you can’t do it,” Oz added. “They’re asking what are we going to do about this.”
The second biggest issue that’s important to Pennsylvanians, according to Oz, is education.
“I talked to some kids today, and they want to know what options are out there,” he said. “There aren’t a lot of options for some, like apprenticeships or career and technical places. They’re not sure what they’re learning that will allow them to prosper in the current economy.
“Parents are also concerned that they want choice over what their kids are learning and where they can send them to school,” added Oz. “Those are issues at all of us, as parents are worried about. I feel strongly that parents ought to have control over the values their kids are learning.”
Oz also continues to be very critical of the fact that Fetterman hasn’t made many in-person campaign appearances since the primary election in May when he suffered a stroke and was fitted for a pacemaker.
“I’ve made more than 133 stops across the state, and where has he been?” Oz asked.
