You can click on the link I provided YR. Define slightly. Current projection is $845B, lowest since 2008. Not super fantastic, but at least going in the right direction. Now all it takes is getting a whole lot of folks in D.C. to stop using their brains as seat cushions and come up with a viable solution to balance the budget without putting us back into a recession/depression like FDR did in 1937.

I did. Whiny claimed otherwise and needed to see his attribution.

Didn't see it, unsurprisingly.

I see we have another irrelevant post attempting to deflect from the subject of the thread.

Yeah, he's so honest...

No wonder he has so little credibility outside of his fellow right wing rebublicants!

Actually CC, your post does support the fact that the "deficit" is becoming smaller. No, that does not mean that the national debt is declining, only that, currently at least, it growing at a slower pace. Now, whether or not the decline continues to the point where we actually get to balanced budget (and by that I mean balanced under Eisenhower) remains to be seen. Probably not, regardless who occupies the White House.

Yeah, you asked to see a picture of my junk. It scarred me deeply and profoundly, you creepy predator! My world has been a living hell ever since your unmanly advance began...

Thats worthwhile ... To BOTH of us, I suspect.

And unlike the vast majority of drivel you post, it's NOT a lie!

Looking at that long line of numbers I guess it can be pointed out that since Obama put the deficit so high it is easier to reduce it. I guess a businessman could make the same claim that after a few years of living it up and overspending like crazy he has finally gotten his bad habit under control.

Obama has nothing to be particularly proud of since he got the numbers up there in the first place. Like an addict telling you he uses less nowadays.

Actually, the highest number there is for FY 2009, which actually belongs mostly to Bush. Only about $200 billion was attributed to the stimulus.

For a change, you've found the worst possible spin... What about 2009, BSwine? When we had to start paying for Dubyas bailouts and tax cuts? Coincidence?

Right!

You must have posted while I was editing my post YR. I believe I addressed 2009 although I'm pretty sure some will probably pooh-pooh it and use their fact-deflecting glasses/blinders to ignore it.

Well we're on the same page on this... The world exploded somewhere between the beginning and the end of Dubyas ruin. We will be paying for it for generations to come.

I believe Obama was President during 2009, hence he should man up and own the deficit. Why does it bother you who the debt and deficits are attributed to, anyway? Liberals don't believe deficits and debt matter, do they? It is only the cruel and heartless conservatives who wish to cut government spending on the backs of the poor, isn't it?
I see it like this: Liberals want to keep sending money to their constituents, and Republicans don't want to raise taxes. Personally, I'd rather keep on deficit spending than give any more money to the US government, so fuck it - since I voted for the Obamination twice, I guess I don't give a shit about the US government debt anymore than you liberals do. Party on big spenders.
