Too hard to narrow it down to one type, but right now, I can't seem to get enough of the Mark Tremonti album.

I like Heavy Metal and Instrumental soft music. I alternate between the 2 all the time. One moment I'm all fired up and ready to go. I be feeling all riled up and furious, and ready to take down a bull with my bare hands. Then I listen to soft instrumental music and I'm all sad, thoughtful, meditating and getting all philosophical, and daydreaming. Then I'm like, I gotta listen to Heavy Metal again! And the vicious cycle continues...

50's rock, anything by the Stones, AC/DC, and Johnny Cash. The man was a poet.

Electric Light Orchestra and Moody Blues. I like mild rock with strings in the background.
I also like to listen the the classic country-western radio stations.

Guess I should elaborate.................
My musical tastes are pretty damn wide, but there's a LOT of shit out there I just can't stand. The stuff I like are:
Old school and new school R&B,
Classic rap an hip-hop
Classic hard rock and metal with a taste of grunge
Smooth, contemporary, and straight-ahead jazz,
Some nu-age and easy listening
Some country and classical
Shit I can't stand is death metal. Muthafuckas screaming into the mic and guitars tuned down so gotdamn low it all sounds like a billion mosquitos buzzing at a deafening volume!
Other shit I can't stand is this new rap. No substance and these muthafuckas ain't talking about anything worth listening to but if it's about fucking I'll give it a listen.
