Moshe Negbi, a legal expert, said the court's decision is mostly symbolic because gay couples in Israel already had many of the rights of heterosexual partnerships. The significant changes are that they will now get the same tax breaks as a married couple and be able to adopt children, Negbi said.

"In a landmark ruling, Israel's Supreme Court ordered the government Tuesday to recognize same-sex marriages performed abroad."
Just checking. That's why I asked.
I thought perhaps the U.S. Court had spoken in 2006.
I realize WTF the topic is your "pet" subject on the board, but .....

Yes equality is somewhat of a pet project of mine. If they start discriminating aganist old white men, you'd see that I'd be in your corner too.
JewishLawyer is the one with the trouble with gays. He keeps squaking about moving to Israel, the dumd SOB will have to deal with gays there too. But hey let's not tell him, I'm about ready to pay for his one way ticket!

"project" implies constructive activity .... lip service doesn't qualify.

Are you claiming old white men aren't discriminated against? I've endured affirmative action for at least 30 years , and it is certainly discrimination against white men. Everyone knows youth are preferred in employment.

Got a friend at a local community college. He has been in training to take over the math department for 6 months. Suddenly, the person who is retiring called him, crying. She said she was told that they are diversifying, and he was out.
The old President disappeared 4 months ago. I guarantee, my friend is more qualified than the PC person who gets the job...Ozombism at it's finest...fuckers

You are dead on, old white men are definitely discriminated against for roofers, ditch diggers and dish washers. You probably couldn't get a job doing those jobs if your life depended on it because a Hispanic would be hired over you almost every time. I'd hire anyone but you to avoid your twisted views and pathetic whinging.

Then why is youth employment so much higher everywhere (unless by youth you mean under 40)?
Depends on the job, but everyone knows that family and friends are preferred for employment in many cases. Seems to me there are still a lot of white male dominated businesses (see % of old white CEOs and VPs), but even that seems to be changing.
Same race and gender as well as greater height and attractiveness statistically tend to get hired first. It also seems to vary based on size of business and area of the country, but I'm not sure you can make much of a blanket statement like that with any validity anymore.

First, you might want to ask "mommy" and "daddy" .... then ..... inquire at the
.... UA clinic about "pass" and "fails" .... then .... run a criminal history...... the killer is reviewing their "work history."
