I believe I understand what you are trying to say in your post, but the reality is far from the idea.

Let me approach your "idea" from the opposite angle. I would not expect "civilian" woman to understand, accept and "forgive" me for engaging in paying for sexual services. It does not take much cautionary questioning to determine that most civilian women have a bias towards those that provide and those pay for play. Some women, but not all accept that their boyfriend / husband was a male whore in his past, but most of them draw the line at accepting the fact that you paid to have fun. We as males (at least me) conveniently obscure the truth of both the present and the past. For me, when a story comes up about time spent in a foreign land, the story is extremely sanitized.

I do believe that you are correct in that some if not most of the women in this alternate universe in which we exist do want to find love, marriage and security despite the overwhelming pervasive cynicism.

However, do you truly believe that your average male, whether or not they engage in paying cash for female companionship would be open minded and accepting of a lady's past who received money for their time and companionship?

I think not.

Housewife duties are more than cooking and cleaning, it's the entire package. It's being a team with your partner. It's putting your personal needs to the side and finding a way to compromise and making smart decisions. It's learning to not nag your man every time he walks in the house. It's learning to play your role by being successful at whatever it is you do, but still acknowledge that your husband is the man of the house.
