that depends on when he dies. he reportedly has 3 or 4 children. that's how things go in ultra secret North Korea. if at least one is a son, and he's an adult when fatass dies the eldest son (or favored son) takes over.


if he dies before that, and assuming he has at least one minor son, probably the son is declared "Leader in waiting" while the sister controls things along with the Generals.


or, if fatass dies without an adult successor, China seizes the opportunity to annex North Korea. it would be a perfect opportunity to do it. and depending on how unstable fatass is, they may have to. North Korea is a fly spec but its strategic importance is clear.


China is shifty and completely untrustworthy. they could annex North Korea on grounds fatass is a "danger to world peace", sucker some dumbass US president like Biden to withdraw US Troops with some Hitler-Stalin like "treaty" that formally ends the Korean Conflict then invade South Korea.
