I've heard that cops hate pimps more than crack dealers. You still have to see a judge to get a restraining order. Pay it no mind unless there is a threat of harm.

No, your legal rep. has to see a judge. The one who's bound by client confidentiality.
Don't listen to this kind of advice. What we're talking about here is obsession and stalking. This can go very wrong, very fast.

What if you are pro se? What if the other party objects to the order? We get to face accusers in the US. Nothing is off bounds in discovery. Research it.

Gosh, all those questions and concerns seem like things to talk about with a lawyer before filing the order. Things that a competent lawyer would actually bring up for you if you're up front about your profession.
Well, OK, those are questions you ask a lawyer if you don't trust the advice of anonymous legal experts on the internet. This one does know "pro se", and I'm pretty sure that's Latin. Or Greek. Fuck, maybe it's Arabic. Anyways, he's clearly at least as good as seeing a real lawyer.
On second thought, I agree with him - continue living in fear. It's obviously the best option.

First off, there isn't really a whole lot a moderator can/should do in this situation. Mods are supposed to moderate the discussions on the boards. They aren't the board police.
That being said, the best thing you can do is clearly document in an email that he is no longer supposed to contact you and that he needs to stop harassing you. If that doesn't stop, then you should spend the money to talk to a lawyer about filing the restraining order. While going in front of a judge could be scary, it pales in comparison what this nut could wind up doing.

The board will do nothing unless he is harassing you via the board.
Unless some of you guys spouting off two cent legal terms are lawyers, you are no use to a lady who is in trouble when it comes to stalking.
Nowadays most judges will give a RO to a person if they can prove that there is stalking, which means you need to keep records. It used to be in order to get a RO, there had to be a threat to your life, but not anymore (thank you crazy stalkers).
If you wish to discuss this further, feel free to contact me via phone. I do have personal experience in this type of situation.

I feel like giving some bad advice now that the best advice has already been provided. I say find the guy who offerred to be security or a driver for girls on this board a while back. If in doubt, take up a random guys offer for help that will also give away your personal life.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.

Kudos.
Seriously though:
1) Document everything
2) Go find a REALLY good lawyer
3) Give the lawyer everything you documented and tell him/her EVERYTHING about the situation.
4) Do whatever he/she says.
That's about the best you can get on an anonymous internet message board.
Terrible situation. I hope it gets better for you.
Maybe you should get out of Wichita and come keep guys company for a while up here in KC for a while. [/selfishplug]

While it is true that a judge will issue a restraining order with minimal proof. It will not happen without the judge finding out what the relationship-if any- between the people is. In all cases (especially here) it's better to avoid getting the courts in involved if possible. Let me get this straight- you were doing something illegal, which caused somebody to do something you think is illegal, and now you want the taxpayers to protect you from yourself?

Seriously? Do you actually believe the words that come out of your mouth?
1. Escorting is a legal profession.
2. Taxpayers protect her from herself? WTF are you thinking? You'd rather some guy who obviously is missing a few brain cells hurt her? You're saying that she brought this upon herself? You clearly know nothing about stalking or the delusions this guy has.
3. You have no idea of what a judge is going to ask her. He will of course ask her questions, but no one knows what they will be.
You're telling us that in all cases its best to keep the stalker, ex bf, ex gf, etc., who is causing problems for you out of court? When the court system could help keep them away? WOW.
