I meant that it's absolutely ridiculous that it's coming to this simply for two consenting adults to have fun. I completely understand that if ECCIE wants to avoid the fate of craigslist, BP etc that it must take measures to protect the site and the people using the site. No argument there. As I stated in my follow on sentence I simply feel that instead of cracking down MORE on various sites, the government instead should be looking to provide a safe, legal environment for adults to engage in consensual fun. That's what I meant by "absolutely ridiculous!"

Maya the Powder Room is a "ladies only" area here on eccie. Go on the Home page then scroll down and you will see our section. Please come check it out it's very helpful and you can get a lot of great information there.

This does not effect the reviews. Look at it this way...

Rates and services in an ad is like sex for money but a review is just a story about what happened, not and advertisement for what will happen.

This is addressed better in the Powder Room.

We all have our own opinions. I, for one, think its too risky for married guys to participate in this hobby. A wife will find out in time and when she does the guy will roll over on this board and everyone he associated with to save his own ass. Its happened several times before and will happen many more.
In my situation, single with a secure job, I think social meetings are a great way to get a pre-date interview. There is one lady that is my next to see just due to meeting with her OTC a few days ago.

Back on topic..........At least we have reviews linked to each provider now, so I dont think it makes it such a big deal that their rates/services are no longer advertised. It may even spur more reviews and make the board more informative.
Just my optimistic view.
