I've been using twitter
but I am not sure if it does any good. I just don't have the time to bother with it. I mostly read it and don't contribute too much. Lots of ladies tell me they get tons of business from Twitter but I guess I am too old to "get it"

I have a blog, Instagram, and Twitter. My Twitter has been wildly popular, and several of my newer clients told me that one of those three sites are what sealed the deal and convinced them to book with me. My blog lets me be as verbose as I want and talk about whatever, my Instagram is of photos throughout my day, and my date outfits, and Twitter is for random stream-of-consciousness updates, prostitution legislative stuff, and my advocacy work with SWOP-Seattle. Using all three really lets potential clients get a full picture of who I am and what I'm about.
I would encourage any hobbyist to get an account separate from your personal one. I have some people follow me from their work profiles, or profiles with their full name plastered on it. Your information is safe with me, but you're interacting with me in a very public way, and I think doing so from a personal account is highly indiscreet.

I agree with Chel Sea, it helps to close the deal,
Also, to know what is going to SW around the World.
It's fun and you don't feel so lonely, there's a sense of connection; there's other just like me out there. I my love twitter, I use mostly for nagging and chat with other providers.

I have a Twitter account that I have a tendency to neglect... and I'm also on Tsu. There's a good size group of us on Tsu.

Sorry to jump on this a bit late. If you decide to get any sort of social media account that is hobby related, getting a separate account is not enough to keep your privacy, you need to have your hobby accounts on a hobby device, where none of your personal email goes to, none of your personal contacts go to.
As much as I would love to generate the buzz that social media can do, due to privacy and discretion concerns, I pass.
Stay safe.

SM is just another way to promote yourself to your clients and other possible gents.
SM is also another way to mess up your RL with your HL.
SM is also another opening for uncle leo to get his hooks into your business.
SM will be the undoing of many gents and ladies . . . Be Careful!

I'm on the fence about twitter. Most have escort referencing and pictures and things they do through out the day posting constantly. Not sure I will want everyone that follows me knowing where im going what car i drive and who bought me things. Kinda put discretion out of the window.
Also what percent of high end men clientele have a twitter account and will follow and post messages?
I wanted a twitter account so this could be interesting. Just was wondering if it can be traced somehow and linked back to your real world information. I dont even have a Facebook account.

You definitely have to be careful about what you post. I'm fairly "open" about what I share, as I find it's just easier to be myself, and I know my clients really enjoy getting an inside peek into my life. You don't have to post photos of your car, or of your gifts. You don't have to post photos at all!
I would say most of my client Twitter followers are your typical middle-income bracket "hobbyists." I do have wealthier clients that look at my feed before booking with me, and to keep in touch (they'll bring up something I posted on Twitter in an email), but they don't actually "follow" me or actually participate in discussions. They do definitely look at it though.
Twitter seems to be less invasive about linking your personal info than Facebook is (FB is terrible). To be on the safe side, just keep all your ho social media on your ho phone, and all your personal social media on you personal phone :-)

If you use any apps like talkatone, Google voice, hangouts, all your contacts are known by them. Same with email like gmail, outlook/hotmail. Couple that with using Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and your info is a Google search away.

So, unless you are in fact referring to a landscape characterized by insufficient rain, you might want to add that second S, next time you're in there doing maintenance.
I hesitated to mention this, because it might easily be seen as some kind of smart-assery, and I'm truly just trying to be helpful. Your web presence is much too elegant to be marred by any trivial problems of orthography, if I can do anything about it by bringing it to your attention.
