I thought taxes were bad?
Which is it IB?
Are low taxes not good for poor people but great for wealthy ones?

But it's the Dims who want to do away with the Bush tax cuts, WTF. You know, the tax cuts that by-in-large benefited the middle class and poor. Sensia might not know that either; just like she didn't know almost 50% of Americans pay no Federal income taxes.

Remember, this is the same group that praised Romney for "paying as little in taxes as the law allows".

Fucking numbnut. And why do you think it is that they pay no taxes? Could it be because they don't have any fucking money???!!!
Over half of those who do not pay taxes make less than $16,000 a year. And, I bet you didn't know that...did you smart guy? And, of course, when I say "didn't pay taxes", I mean didn't pay income tax. They did pay sales tax, fuel tax (if they're lucky enough to own a car or even have enough money to ride the bus) and a shitload of other taxes.
Yes, those lucky non-taxpaying freeloaders. Don't you just wish that you could earn less than $16,000 a year so you didn't have to pay any taxes? And, you could eat all that rice and beans, and not have a car and live in substandard housing in a shitty neighborhood? Man, I know that I'd trade off my big-ass tax-paying lifestyle for that privilege and I just know Mitt Fucking Romney would too....Mr. fucking paying 13% of his millions private equity vulture capital shitbag.
I won't even address the issue of how many elderly and retired folks don't pay any taxes. The dirty fucking freeloaders. How dare they?
Your bullshit doesn't withstand scrutiny. Think more or post less.

That's because they can buy perks and loopholes from members of Congress. That is why we must stop electing Democrats and Republicans.
Go ahead and raise taxes all you want, as long as the system is corrupt, the rich will still be able to get out of paying them. Just watch, if the rates go up, loopholes will increase.

Your bullshit $16,000 threshold is a bit off: just like you, Little Timmy.
According to an analysis of 2009 tax data by the Tax Policy Center, about 90 percent of households with an annual income below $20,000 paid no federal income tax.
Among households with incomes of $20,000 to $50,000, about 48 percent paid no federal income tax; for incomes of $50,000 to $100,000, it was about 12.5 percent. http://www.ehow.com/info_8023998_percent-pay-federal-income-taxes.html
Oh, and another point, government subsidies augment the income of the poor, and it is not counted as income. So someone having a reportable income of $25,000 might also be receiving a matching $25,000 in government aid: so that's a long way from true poverty.

Your figures, assuming they're correct, do nothing to rebut the claim that half of those who pay no income tax make less than $16,000.

Your retort does nothing to rebut the fact that many making more than twice that amount do not pay taxes. Your retort does nothing to rebut the fact that most of those families are subsidized with thousands of dollars of government aid that is not accounted for as income.

Not quite, asshole. You and your Kool Aid drinking ilk pretend only the poorest are not paying taxes; plus, you and your Kool Aid drinking ilk similarly ignore the massive amount of government aid provided to those with low incomes who do not pay federal income tax.
