Interwebs= us trying to find actual information with the caveat to Google the author of anything on the Interwebs because 95% of them are either funded and paid for by a right wing/left wing thunk-tank.

All we really get is moderately entertaining reading while we're supposed to be working.
The only way to get it all is to watch everything, whether you personally agree or disagree with it, and look at it all with skepticism.*

To me everything in the popular media is suspect of being distorted, either intentionally or otherwise, due to the fact that all reporters are human beings and therefore:

TAE's RULE OF BEING A HUMAN BEING....

Human beings are habit-forming, comfort-seeking, stress-avoiding creatures
who are highly suggestable and prone to error.

[I know I am like this]

*my usual sources are National Public Radio, Democracy Now, and Fox News. They are all the opposites of each other and feature what the others refuse to carry.

Very true about MSNBC.

As for Fox News, well they sometimes stray towards the middle, but even
when they don't, they still have the best looking chicks which
in the end is the most important thing.

Actually he did, it was circulated out there but didn't gain any traction.

That is the first time I have ever heard FOX described as "sometimes stray towards the middle."

Hell, that station is so far right they are wrong!

Well, they straytowards the middle when they bring democrats and republicans together and they have a common enemy. And then they go back to fighting each other.
but in the end they still have the best looking chicks and that's the important thing.

When have they ever brought anyone together? And while I don't wish to attack the poster, that last statement is absurd no matter how many times it's repeated.

Are you kidding?

Fox is not conservative anymore than Rush Limbaugh is.

Fox is a pro-statist, crypto-facist, flag-waving, anti-dissent, pro-finance, pro-establishment, anti-constitutionalist, etc.,,etc....

As such they join with msnbc in marginalizing any strict constitutionalist, anti-statist, pro-dissentist like...

Ron Paul right of center

Noam Chomsky left of center

...and anyone else who's views comport with THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF THIS HERE REPUBLIC!

They have debates, they bring democrats and republicans together and let them go at it. Sure, in the end, they'll knockout the democrats, but its entertaining. Fox News is for the people and makes sure we get fair and balance news. Haven't you seen the 'The Five', 'Red Eye'?

I don't see how Fox News having the best looking chicks is absurd.

It's because they won't show their pussies. They really need to show their wet snatches getting banged by big, black veiny cocks. They could wait until kids are asleep to do it, like the TV channels in Europe do.

Fox isn't about news coverage of anything.

It's entirely biased editorializing in order to pander to the gullable, frightened public who's alarmed about everything enough to surrrender their rights to a plutocracy.

Fox and Limbaugh are opposed to every word of the Constitution and everything it stands for. They know they can't win any arguments about anything so they rely on titilation, fear and ridicule.

Their only message is:

The United States is the only country worth a shit, and is ruled by supermen and virtuous Saints.
Your government is here to protect you from everyone else so do whatever they tell you.
If you question your government you must be the enemy....you should be killed immediately.
The only thing wrong with our economy is that the rich aren't rich enough.
If we could only let loose the banks so they could do what they want we would all be rich just like they are.

Despite all this I watch them anyway.

They are a money-making machine that's managed to keep their noses clean by distancing themselves from the overt criminality of their mastermind [Murdoch] which has led to his recent downfall.

A recent study determined that it's for people who aren't very well informed. People who get all their news from Fox News know less about current events than people who watch no news at all. As many people on both sides of the political divide have stated, you need to get your news from multiple sources if you want to have a clue.

I don't see how Fox News having the best looking chicks is absurd.
If you said in Coed, the Locker Room or especially in a review (now THAT would impress me) that they had the best looking chicks, it wouldn't be out of place. To keep repeating it in a Sandbox thread about politics is moronic.
