Meh. It sounds like those "freedom of speech" zones that they corral protesters into. Why not make the mod's job really easy and actually have free speech on the whole forum? Or do Americans just fight and die for free speech only to give it up readily when an internet forum decides to make a rule against it?

Instead of a designated swearing thread, I'd rather see the "don't post in a thread over 30 days old" rule abolished. That's the dumbest rule on the internets. (And why can't 30 day old threads auto-lock so you can't post anyway?)
