The current state of the astros is such that I will probably go another season without seeing my hometown team play. Between the bs with the TV rights and the ridiculous ticket prices to watch a AA team play, I am finding it hard to get enthusiastic as much as I would like to.

I did go to two games last year with my son. Did not know a single player on the roster. Drayton should have unloaded the team sooner than he did. I blame him.

Well, my Cards are playing like shit...which is awesome because there's usually an inverse relationship between Spring Training and the regular season for us...

And my "future" Astros aren't doing any better! Today: De Shields - Ofer 4. Singleton: Ofer 1. Correa: Ofer 2. Team: 3 hits in 30 ab's.

Oh, and fwiw, Scherzer only pitched 3 innings. js
