My understanding is that there was a never-released sequel to Pretty Woman. It didn't test well with focus groups -- too depressing.

My opinons...

Dreams do come true, but dreams can change and dreams can end. You can "live the dream," but when you start to feel obsessive (or the focus of obsession) or stalk-y (or stalked), it's time to wake up.

I had a long term relationship with a provider a while back. We truly were in love, but the stress of the job, life, kids, discretion, etc... when love came into the equation, it was too much for either of us to handle. Although the breakup went a little South, I will always care for her and wish nothing but the best for her and her family. But I can promise you this, I would never date another active provider - I realized that I'm not strong enough to share the woman I love.

Naomi, I didn't mean to be a downer...follow your heart. Love is a glorious thing and worth the risk of being hurt. I would only trade in about 50 hours of our year long relationship. I'm mostly past the hurt and only look back at the good in the relationship. Good luck, be safe and keep an open mind.

Do Dreams come true? Without a doubt....4 1/2 years and still going strong!!!

You never know when nor where you will find that special person and fall head over heals in love. However, I would never suggest someone to look for it within the Hobby community . At the same time, I would encourage people to not slam the door if/when they find it.

Shelby, I agree with what you say, dreams do come true sometimes when you least expect them to. No, the hobby is not truly the place to be looking for love in the real sense of the word. The fact is though that we are all human and as such we do have emotions that sometimes take over our heart and mind. No one knows for sure when they meet someone how or what relationship may or may not develop. As Naomi said earlier, if it happens it happens. Deal with it the best you can and hope for the best.

I once had a vivid dream about holding a baby girl and rocking her in a certain chair I had never seen before. That came true about a year later. So, I guess certain dreams come true... :-)

Falling in love is wonderful, but it seems those feelings don't last forever for most of the population. It would be really wonderful to have that forever, however, reality keeps bringing most of us back down to earth. Does anyone really know of a Happily Ever After story? Do tell!
