Good tread... Class is all in your presentation. What I wanted to say was, I use backpage and am very successful with it. There is nothing wrong with it. I guess it depends on what city you are in. I hope BP does not go away. I love it. I used to use craigslist too till the goody two shoes stuck their noses in it with the human trafficing bullshit. Look, what about the rest of us, who freely walked into this industry?? Not to digress... Class and style are two different things. I have my friends take pictures of me all over the place and they look a little amaturish, but the guys love it.

I am not opposed to onor am I judging gals who use Palace Inn for their regulars or for a few appts here & there...some of them are in nice areas and look nice enough........I just don't understand girls who use them when they are doing HIGH volume or the hotel is in bad neighborhood and looks rundown

I may not be the smartest gal here or the most elegant..but dammit i do carry myself with some dignity and respect!

I've never met you, but you write very well, which for me is an indicator of class. So if grammar is a clue you have ample class. Maybe because you like to play around here on the boards and trash talk, which is fun, offends some "girly" types, but where it matters and also here on ECCIE you have all of the class you need and more!

Here is a thought, perhaps the reason why people on the boards seem to be so rude and disrespectful and desperate is maybe because of the times we live in?

I took some college nursing/medical/psychology courses where we studied groups of people, ie the poor, minorities, and different cultures. One of the lessons concerned why people who live in impovershed areas purposely deface and destroy their own neighborhoods and communities no matter how often improvements were made. One of the ideas was that the people who live there never learned how to respect themselves or their surroundings. In other words, they were used to living in crime infested ghettos and had no concept of self respect. Self respect and respect for others is a learned behavior, just as self destruction is a learned behavior.

So..... if you grow up in a culture of degradation, discouragement, violence and hopelessness then you expect it from others and you dish it out. These are the same people who abuse drugs and alcohol, accept violence and pimping because they don't know anything else. Nobody ever raised them to have any respect for anything, it's like that old song, "I was born here in the city with my back against the wall". To these people, they are so desperate for money that they don't intend to see a client again ever. They want to suck out as much as they can from anyone they can attract. They were told from the beginning that they never mattered as people and have no future. The only purpose they have in life is to bring in money for someones dope habit.

The current economic climate feeds this desperation. When the masses don't have economic stability, desperation sets in and we all know the saying: desperate people do desperate things.
When a filthy rich mega comglomerate spews crap like, "Corporations are people too" it's not looking too good for the average person trying to survive. When a child grows up as I did, seeing IV using streetwalkers hitchhiking on the streets where I walked home from school- that child will perceive that as normal. Sooo, I say consider the source and realize that these people are a product of a lifestyle devoid of any hope of a future. Money becomes more important than lives.

Well I arrived on Eccie right before CL got shut down. In my short time here, I've noticed more and more threads about Pimps, Questionable Ladies and Practices. Here in the last couple of months when I'm looking around at different states, the threads are really picking up about pimps and whose working for them.

There's not much class left in the hobby and especially in the RW. In today's world, it's all about what have you done for me lately.

I agree with this one. The Palace Inn is so raunchy! They always play reruns of B-rated porn.
