I live 70 miles from kc. We have got 2 foot of snow and ice while kc was clear and nice and vice versa.

I don't know, I think it was a good move to be considerate and proactive in posting she wasn't going to be coming to Topeka today. Doesn't really matter if you agree with why she cancelled, she did a decent job communicating to the fellows she wouldn't be there. Hard to believe that generated a two page discussion, but good on ya Grace.

To the Topeka guys. I live and work in KC. I have met Grace before, so I know the area she stays at. I was in this same area yesterday for business (non hobby related) pretty much all day. It snowed for quite a while, and at times, almost snow flurry conditions. I don't mind driving in it, but for someone like Grace who doesn't, I can understand why she decided to cancel.
You did the right thing Grace by posting your cancellation here. Some people need to relax.
