The statistics and the mystics say they will one year. But not this year. Too much experienced talent.

WKWCFR rule 1

"Lies, damn lies and statistics!"

British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli

statistics and mystics have nothin' to do with it. the odds are against the SEC. And the majors players like 'Bama, Arkansas and Auburn actually lack experience at QB. I just don't see Alabama running the table and LSU suddenly has a discipline issue, not that Jefferson was a world beater anyway but not what Lester had in mind when camp started eh?

Funny audio heard on BaD radio:

Caller on the Les Miles show asked if hey was going to move J Jefferson to punter.

more importantly, who will not be on probation by the end of the season

btw Miles has always had a problem with bad boys being on his team, Gundy came in and dismissed 3-4

Here's my predictions for each Conference winner, along with a darkhorse choice. Pick one conference or pick 'em all.

ACC
Florida State. Good as BeamerBall has been at VaTech i think the Jimbo era really begins at Free Shoes U now.
Darkhorse Boston College

Big East
West Virginia. Holgerson era also begins at WVa. Defense could kill WVa even with a high scoring offense.
Darkhorse Louisville

Big Ten
Wisconsin. Sorry Bo you don't know the Big Ten yet.
Darkhorse Illinois

Big 12
Oklahoma. You go Bob, just remember to win it all this time.
Darkhorse Texas Tech

C USA
SMU. Going all in with June.
Darkhorse Tulsa

Mid-American
Toledo. Rather bland little place on the shadow of the Buckeye.
Darkhorse Western Michigan

Mountain West
Boise State. Just keep winnin', Smurfs.
Darkhorse Air Force

PAC 12
Oregon. Unless all Hell busts on Kelly he has the best team. And it might.
Darkhorse Utah

SEC
Alabama. Saban's specialty, defense and a strong running game. Who needs a QB?
Darkhorse Georgia

Sunbelt
Troy. Always seems to have high scoring teams, who in this league's gonna stop 'em?
Darkhorse Florida Atlantic

SDSU has 5 home conference games, including TCU and Boise St. Tough road game will be at Air Force.

QB, RB, WR combo will bring back the old WAC scoring. We just need to make sure we can put up some stops.

if it makes ya feel better BF i seriously pondered yer Aztecs as a darkhorse. What i don't take seriously is Rocky Long. We know he can't build a team (NMex) now let's see if he can just not screw the pooch.

How do you build a team in New Mexico? Who in the hell would want to play football there?

Well Hoke must have thought Long could be a coordinator or he wouldn't have hired him. Oh wait, Hoke didn't take him to Ann Arbor, did he? Oops.

Actually i'd be surprised if Long doesn't post a winning record his first year the real story comes about 3 to 4 years from now.

Vince Lombardi could win in New Mexico. Does that make you feel better?

Default Final Top 25

Kid, I'll get serious after while and do my conference championships, but right now, I just have to toss this out there:

R4C's Final Top 25 (as in after the season's over):

1. Okiehomies
2. No team from Texas
3. No team from Tejas
4. No team from texas
5. No team from Saxet
6-25. No team from Texas, well, uh maybe except for TTech or the Phrogs or the Methodists.
