Web Cam Providers...Hobbying of the future??

Here's my 2 cents. A lot of the "live" webcam girls also have pre-taped videos that one can watch. I think one angle would be to produce videos and put them on their website just like pictures. Those would be free. She could then offer a live webcam session for a very nominal "teaser" fee in the ball park of $20. If the guy likes the live webcam session and then books for a real date, then the $20 is taken off the regular donation. If the guy doesn't book, the gal keeps the $20 and everyone goes their separate ways. I don't think there is any real way to prevent fake live sessions from happening other than to out a provider who operates in this manner. Trust me, bad reviews will kill any ladies business, so she'd have to think long and hard about bait and switch. Also, it would be kinda hard to find someone to do your live webcam sessions that involve sexual contact. Probably would cost more than it is worth. I actually like the idea of providers having videos (pre-made) as well as live webcam sessions.

Well, if its years from now......I won't be in the business. After I'm done with my PhD program, I'm done. But, if I was to be in the business years from now, yes I would lose clients.

Lets just say for sake of argument that it does become very popular, not every lady is going to offer it. There are tons of ladies who are HDH who don't show their face now because they need to be discrete and they still get business. There's tons of ladies who aren't HDH who don't show their face (like me) and still get business. We'll still get business no matter what. There's always going to be the men who value discretion and wanting to have the real thing in their hands instead of sitting in front of a computer.

There'll be too many guys out there who'll say, "oh I want to book a session with you. Can I see your video?" and then he doesn't book because he jacked off while watching the video and had no real intention of booking to begin with. If I were to make a video of me playing with myself as a teaser video, it'd cost a lot more than 20 bucks and no, I wouldn't take it off the session fee. The session fee is just that, for the real in life session. If I'm putting myself together for a video, that's a different entity and a different fee.

Some people seem to forget that discretion is a huge part of this lifestyle. What chick out there wants a video of herself saying, "Hey, I'm an escort or hooker or whatever word you wish to use. Choose me!!"????

You seem to be skipping over the fact that in a webcam teaser, it can be recorded. It could end up on hundreds of sites, people could use it to blackmail or just be plain evil and use it to try to ruin a person. It just doesn't happen to celebrities.

Ms E, I suspect you would do just fine whether you followed the "main stream" advertizing approach or not. There are amny UTR and low-key ladies who have built up a very good following based upon their persona and some word of mouth.
