No, I'm not denying what was on the clip, silly boy. The editing might lead a dimmer bulb to concur that he was having "a laugh at unemployment." But that's not what he was doing. And nobody really knows what else happened in the following seconds. Why not shoot us a link that includes the end of his statement... you know, where he rolls on the ground and laughs at all the people he's fired. YOW indeed!

The “shovel-ready” comment was made prior to the 2008 election. It refers to projects that create jobs now. It was also used to describe infrastructure projects that are planned, approved, but lack funding to pay for them. Some took some months extra to get going because of scheduling.
