The "independent report" is an Obama whitewash; they pointed blame at everyone EXCEPT Obama. They never addressed the following most relevant (and damaging) questions:

- When (what time of day and date) was Obama 1st told of the attack?
- Where was Obama when he was first told ?
- Who told Obama?
-What was Obama's immediate response (exactly)?
- Who did he communicate his responses to ?
- Who advised him during the initial hours of the attack ?
- Where in the White House did the policy makers meet ?
- What were Obama's specific instructions/orders to the military and other departments?
- Who passed these instructions along to the respective departments?

There are many more relevant questions. THE REPORT COMPLETELY IGNORES THE TIMELINE DETAILS OF THE WHITE HOUSE RESPONSE FOLLOWING THE ATTACK...All should be answered by the Obama White House !

We have the detailed information on the killing of OBL; along with pictures of Obama in the situation room....where are the same details on Benghazi and Obama.

In a properly functioning society, this report would signal the end of Hillary Clinton’s chances of becoming president. The Peter Principle isn't supposed to apply when it comes to the highest office in the land. But then, in a properly functioning society, Clinton’s successor (Kerry) would not be the wannabe statesman who concluded that Bashar al-Assad was the answer to our prayers for peace and harmony in the Middle East.

I don't know about this "lie" business per say. It was my understanding that the WH initially got conflicting reports from the intelligence community that at first indicated a "protest" and that later turned out to be incorrect.

Now did the administration make a choice to stress the "protest" angle and pull back on the terror angle? Yes, but as we now know, the intelligence community was involved in that decision as well.

Mistakes were made and it cost lives. Mistakes were made when it came to funding for security, mistakes at the state department, and huge mistakes in the intelligence community.

Whirly, you actually do ask some good questions. It would be nice to have more detail. However, based on the time lines that were released, by the time the White House was really able to do anything, it was too late. Again, mistakes we can learn from.

I know the Obama haters wanted this to be some huge scandal that would bring down his presidency, but sorry folks, as I told you before, it aint happenin.

You are correct to say that it ain't happening....the media doesn't want to push this story to protect Obama. They have a vested interest in seeing him stay in office. They promoted him in the first and second election; they are liberal, they like Obama's policies. They don't want to drag him through any investigation.
