Wages are UP
Inflation is down?
In what number fudging world is this true?

Just because you're busy at McDonalds doesnt mean the economy is booming. Your salary vs the cost of basic services and goods, how is THAT doing?

You're saying majority of people arent struggling and doing away with luxuries?

Thats the pertinent part of this equation, whores are a luxury. Now factor in those whores not giving a shit about service (like everyone else) and that luxury value plummets
The hassle of verifications, deposits, shitty comms, et al makes this thing not even worth it considering there are plenty of alternatives competiting for that luxury dollar

Not from where I sit.

Many people not working jobs they want to work.
Many people working more than one job.
Prices are insane. $25.76 today for BK lunch for two people.
Gas is $3.57 a gallon.

How is this very good?

When minimum wages in this state continue to climb as a result of our brilliant economic geniuses in Albany it allows for their continued re-election. Meanwhile businesses continue to close due to the ridiculous cost of labor and rampant lawlessness. Continuing to focus on bail reform and getting every McWorker to feel great about making $18 bucks an hour is what’s killing our economy.

As a small business owner with 6 employees I have a need to keep up on current and future economic outlook. The feds tightened money over the past year. It’s being felt across the business world. It’s costing more for companies to borrow. That along with rising costs lower profit margins. There has also been a growing trend of increasing wages and lowering of work output per hour. This is world wide. A lot of people look at the increase in wages as a good sign. It’s actually the opposite. Under performing people are getting paid above thier value because the glut of cash influx from govt programs and easy money everywhere during and following the pandemic led to lower worker participation. I’m not saying it’s going to be doom and gloom. I’m saying life is going to be harder economically for people making 40-70,000. Once that happens the girls prices will stop going up as quickly because the client base will shrink.

All wages are supposed to go up genius. 30 years ago the median American wage was 14 dollars a hour. Right now the average income is actually more than double that but the major problem is younger people that spend more and stimulate the enconomy 20 to 24 years are only making $38,324 a year 16-19 year olds make 7000k less yearly. We aren't stimulationg the economy if young adults are making 18 bucks a hour on average. They are not going to go out as much, not meet others to have kids later, and not buy stuff. The young generation is going to be broke and stay at their over priced apartment . You have to get to 25 to 34 years old just for 52,936k a year guess who now is not buying houses.. You have to get to 40-60 years old for the number hit over 28 a hour on average which is now to damn old to have kids to add to the economy enough for it to grow. 10 years ago the wage gap in age was getting bad and its only getting worse. 10 years before that in the 90s the wage gap was at 1.2 times at the highest between ages not a near 2x difference Everyone complains about the mcdonalds worker not being able to afford to rent a apartment and not the Nurse that can't buy a house and a new car. The jokes of not increasing minimum wage has been a scape goat to keep all wages lower across the board and increase profits. Your 80k-100k jobs 10 years ago should be 150k-180k" jobs now yet they pay the same. 50k should be entry-mid level skilled job pay.

I totally agree with what your saying I would like to add that the worker of the 90’s is not the same worker of 2023. The young workers today have no work experience when they enter the workforce. Go back to 1980 most teens had jobs. A lot grew up on farms. Or in small towns working. Mowing lawn stocking shelves baby sitting. They had work experience before age 18. Lots of things are to blame but the bottom line is a lot of the workforce under 40 makes less because they don’t want the responsibility that goes with higher wagers
