Cisgender is an unnecessary term, regardless of what Webster says. It reminds me of the ridiculously over used word ‘literally’. Everything is literally now, for no particular reason. I take everything someone say as literal, there isn’t a need to keep reminding people. Same goes for ‘cis’. When you say man or woman, the cis part is assumed. I can see adding a descriptor if the subject is some kind of freak, other than that it’s wholly unnecessary.
