On the topic of lies I would argue that possibly the biggest lie Trump has told:

“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week”

To be fair as of today next week is still a few days away.

Funniest part is Republicans had every opportunity to be a full half of the committee, but they were shaking in their boots about what they'd find. So, they declined to participate. A lot of folks probably don't even remember that. Republicans willingly gave up their rightful spots on the J6 Committee, for fear of angering dear leader.

First of all, elections have consequences. If GOP had been in control when the J6 committee was being formed, they could have chosen any traitor trump loyalists they wanted for it. Honestly, they probably wouldn't have investigated it at all, because they love that trump tried to overthrow the government.

Secondly, why the FUCK should Gym Jordan have been allowed on the committee? He was a material witness in the case. That would be like having trump oversee his own rape trial. Sorry, that's not how laws work.

Kevin McCarthy was given every opportunity to have 5 Republicans on the J6 committee, and because he couldn't get his criminals of choice in there, he took his ball and went home. That's how it went down. Don't get it twisted.

trump never asked for the National Guard - that is an absolute falsehood. He assembled the mob and turned them loose on the Capitol. He then allowed everything to happen for more than three hours before doing **any fucking thing at all** to stop it.
