I haven't read the other thread on this, but an employee of the Brown's team went to the stadium and killed himself on the same day also. What is this world coming to? Very sad that people are seeing no way out of their unhappiness except through suicide.

Or Allie, there are some people who are not willing to deal with the consequents of there own actions...and instead choose the chicken way out by commiting suicide. Thus putting their love ones in the position of having to pick up the pieces afterwards.
I mean come on...this guy pumped multiple bullets into someone he "loved"...with his own mother in the house. And then leaves his mother in a horrible & bloody gruesome situation. And what is his next priority...leave Mom and drives out to Arrowhead, to thank people for letting him play football...and then in front of those folks, blows his brains out, leaving them in a horrible position
And to just to finish...I pick up the Star, and the headline reads something along the lines of "City comes together for this tragedy" (something along those lines).
To use a phrase the KC right tackle made a few weeks ago, about KC fans & Cassel...I found the headline to be "sickening"!!!!!! As I went back in my home, I merely dropped the entire paper into the trash can.
If this guy were just a manager at an Appleby's...most folks would. at best, would have glance at the article, perhaps even thought what a low life this guy was and move on.
But just because this murder was a football player...somehow it now becomes a dark chapter for the whole city???? And please, don't give me the "but it is different, because somehow we all knew of him...watching him every Sunday" No you did not know him...and apparently based on many public comments so far, how shocking this behavior was to so many, they apparently also did not know him very well....but they did say the guy was a heavy drinker, on a nightly basis...hmmmmm.
Sorry, just not buying into all this stuff...and of course, my thoughts go out to the loved ones...regardless of whether he was a football player or a manager @ Appleby's...but this is no more of a dark chapter for this City, than when the next KC victim dies a violent crime, which sadly could be happening as I type this post.

He's a pos murderer. The fact that he plays for the Chiefs doesn't matter. He's no different from some gang member killing someone in the street or someone killing a clerk in a robbery. Booze, drugs, rage, jealousy, most likely abuse. Happens all over the country too many times a day. Just more unwanted publicity for KC from this second rate bunch of clowns.
Prayers to both families and to that little girl. And props to Romeo. Through all this he has been nothing but class and a great leader and example.

neat. More speculating about something you don't know about. This is about as logical as writing a review on a girl that you haven't seen, but rather basing it off what you've heard.
No shit? So you're telling us that a 25 year old, professional athlete, likes to party?! I'm fucking shocked! I'm sure you could find several people to say the same thing about me.
In spite of their record, they're still considered role models. People admire them, and feel a connection to them. Even now, as bad as they've been playing this year, the fans go nuts to get close to these guys; and jump at the opportunity to interact with them. So yes; there are alot of cheifs fans out there that feel like they lost a friend, even though they didn't personally know the guy. I, on the other hand, actually did. The last time we hung out was about 2 weeks ago, and yes, I admit... there was drinking involved.

Your description of him is way off. He was very laid back, respectful, fun to be around, and the furthest thing from a thug. Yes, he snapped and killed someone, which I still can't grasp; but there's more to the story that none of us will ever know about.

Oh please garcia...stop acting like some teen age boy, looking up to a football player as some sort of role model.. In one of your earlier posts you stated yourself, that you had met him only "a few times".
Hate to burst your bubble....but just 'cause you supposely had some drinks with a murderer does not mean you even remotely knew this guy.
And your comments regarding putting a football player as a "role model" or fans "admiring and connecting to them" or going nuts to get close to these guys"...well thanks for establishing how credible and mature of an individual you are. Says a whole lot about you.
As Charles Barkley said...."Anyone who puts athletes on any type of a role model pedestal, is either a confused teenager or has the maturity of a confused teenager. I am no role model...if ya need one & you are an adult, seek immediate help". I just luv that comment he made a couple of years ago.
And again, showing your total lack of maturity...in not understanding the difference in "partying" and having a serious drinking problem
And your weak comment about me speculating, exactly on what...you obviously only focus on my comment on his alleged drinking, but totally ignore my other comments...which are simply the facts of this murderer's final hours, too which you can only come up with the BS "snapped" comment.
And as far as "snapping" and "more to the story"...this thug took the time & effort to shot his baby's mama multiple times, in front of his own Mom...then like a pussy, not only fleed the crime scene leaving his Mom in a hellish situation, but more importantly leaving his baby girl with the legacy that her father killed both her Mom as well as his own sorry ass.
Then, his biggest priority at that point was to flee to Arrowhead to "thank" folks for giving him the opportunity to play football...and while those folks tried to talk him down...Mr Role Model blew his brains out in front of those folks...leaving them with those intense horrible thoughts and memories. And why did he blow his brains out at that point....'cause he heard the cops sirens, and this "admired pathetic chicken role model piece of garbage" instead of facing the consequences of his "snapping" blew his pathetic brains out onto Arrowhead's parking lot.
That is not speculating, not judging, and has no comparison to writing a review on a girl that I have never seen. It's simply the facts. And what is your inference to there being "more to the story"...that somehow the lady who he supposely loved did anything even remotely worth mentioning that caused him to become a killer?? That his football injuries created this series of violent acts??? Those type of excuses are right up there with the "Devil made me do it" argument.
So go back to your Madden football computer game, and fantasy that you know some other athlete...because my next door neighbor's brand new puppy has a better sense of reality than you do

Well....he put NINE bullets into the mother of his child in front of his mother....
Tell me Mr Holier than thou...what the FUCK else do we need to know about this role model??
Carry on with your cannonization campaign...my guess is it ain't gonna play. Does it even matter to you that he shot her NINE times and orphaned his child? For some reason you don't want to address what he did, only that you can't "grasp" why..after all he was "laid back, respectful, fun to be around, and the furthest thing from a thug." who just happened to "snap"....
I can't recall a more glaring example of a wannabe on this SHMB...than you. Just because you think you are somebody because you got drunk with a killer who happened to play football....give me a FUCKING break....

How people act behind closed doors is completely different than what they do when around others. Family or significant others are usually the only ones that know the true person and truthfully on the person themselves know them and in the case of mentally ill, they don't even know themselves.

Garcia, you aren't going to win this argument. VK nailed it down to the last detail in his post. To you he may have been a friend and you might be struggling to reconcile the person you thought you knew with the actions he took. I get that. But to everyone else, he was a selfish SOB with poor impulse control, and a desire to spread the misery of his actions as far and wide as possible. In other words, a world class murdering POS.

Your lack of comprehension is beyond words. You seem to be stellar at reviewing previous posts. Please find where I said that I, personally, looked up to athletes. It was much more than having a few drinks, but that's besides the point. I don't have to defend my relationships IRL to a few clowns on a hooker site. You act like I continually name drop or try to get attention... which again, couldn't be further from the truth. I rarely post on here at all, other than to jump in when I see stupidity. As I've said before, I have a very low tolerance. I'm sorry if this means I continually come after you. I simply pointed out that you and a few others are wrong about who he was, and you started going on about how what he did was wrong. Read this part realllllly slowly now.... I never said otherwise. Your opinion of me and my "credibility" is of no concern to me, so blast away. I really don't give a fuck what some idiots on a hooker board think of me. My only complaint with both of these threads is that you guys are talking about someone like you knew him. You didn't. Yes... there is ALWAYS more to the story. Surely you know this. I'm not saying I know what it is, but neither do you.

I'm not addressing what he did because I don't disagree that it was beyond terrible. Again, I knew him. I can't believe he would do such a thing. It's shocking. How many fucking ways do I have to say it, before it finally sinks into that minuscule brain of yours?
Wannabe? Jesus. You don't know me. You have no fucking clue who I am, yet you sit behind your keyboard blasting away. Hilarious. I never implied anything. I'm sorry that you're upset about my social circle. It's ok. Not all of us can be as pathetic as you.

You're right. My issue with all of this is that these people are speaking as if they knew him, and that it shouldn't be a shock... and this is wrong.
