How is this not a situation that calls for a Special Forces unit to move in and take back the city? They are literally armed insurgents laying claim to US territory, reclaiming it is exactly what Green Berets train for.

They want to create a scene and be the victims. It wouldn't take such an extreme measure to neutralize their effectiveness at preying on defenseless statues and closed small businesses with overaged-overweight security guards protecting the front doors.

Simply round them up, strip search them, and parade them out to the bus to the Federal holding facility in their stained underwear to be offloaded in the presence of the general population while the regulars are getting their daily exercise.

yeah, I saw that in the other post. I was thinking more of a book or tv series or movie that touched on it. didn't think about the military

exercise.
