How much does the hotel matter to guys?

The area is important - the room? Not so much. Most important thing about the room is probably that it should be picked up and tidy. I've seen some reviews where untidiness was mentioned as a distracting negative. I guess you also need a plan for the bedding, since I've seen reviews where guys got the "heebie-jeebies" from bedding they "thought" had just been used by another guy. I don't suffer from that problem though personally.

I'm not a guy but my opinion is that both location and hotel matter. I always try to place myself in the shoes of our clients. The image you portray starts from the first initial contact and continues thru to the end and even after your appointment.

Pulling up to a lower class hotel in an okay area sets a completely different tone than pulling up at a mid to upper class hotel in a nice part of town.

And let's be logistical...... From the looks of your reviews (the last here on eccie being from 2010) if you are charging the average of 300/90 mins paying 100-130 for a nice room.... Even if you are low volume and only see 3 clients in the course of 24 hours, your profit margin is still off the charts. Just my .02

Location is by far the most important. A lower price area and I being a middle aged white male would probably stand out. Places like that I won't even turn into. Also important that it is well lighted, I dont like those dark paths to get to a room. Mid level places still have reasonable rates and I just look like a businessman or dad traveling with the family. As far as a room goes, as long as its clean and cool I have no problem. For some reason I have found that some providers keep the temp way to hot. If everything goes well we will end up sweating anyway, I don't need the extra help.

I prefer the hotel vibe after dark . I like to walk into the lobby and get that first aroma of hotel smell, then proceed to the elevator to hear the ding noise. Follow that with the walk down the quiet hall. I find during the daytime can set off the same vibe, however I usually always cross paths with housekeeping. I recall once leaving the session and a housekeeping lady that must of know what was going on bc she looked panicked and said, "oh Lawd" as I passed by her.
As far as motels go, I don't prefer them, but if they're as you in a safe area and are clean, so be it. I feel more exposed when walking around the outside of a motel to a room with a view to anyone that could be staking out the place.

I always try to make my room "homey"...I bring candles/decorations/my lava lamp/fresh sheets & pillowcases/ect

Location matters more to me than brand, but like Dallas, I've had really good luck with Priceline when I travel. Two star and lower places are operating on a low enough profit margin that they don't deal, but bidding on a three star can get you a bargain. I've recently gotten a room at Courtyard by Marriott for $62.00 a night.

Also, I prefer a hotel to a "drive up to the room" motel. I don't like having a room door that opens up to the parking lot, even though that means that I have to walk past the front desk. It's easy enough for me to blend in as a tourist. Carrying a small bag helps. It may be a grocery bag with drinks or snacks to enjoy in the session or your own toiletries to freshen up with before going home.

This is also a reason for providers to notify clients of any delays before the clients arrive at the hotel. I have successfully occupied myself in a hotel's business center while waiting for a girl, but it was an unnecessary complication and I would have been at a loss for a story if there had been a function in one of the meeting rooms and I ran into someone I know.

A couple of times I was met at a side door and walked up by the provider-made me feel good but I have no idea how most of the ladies will feel about that, security-wise.

The size of the hotel is most important to me. I feel more comfortable meeting at the larger hotels usually located in downtown New Orleans. You are able to get to the room without passing the front desk or the lobbies are so big and busy you are not noticed when walking by the front desk. You don't have to worry about nosey people taking a picture of your car or copying down your license plate number because you usually have to park in a garage or valet. I rather pay a higher rate to compensate for the cost of the larger hotels instead of meeting at the smaller hotels, 3 or 4 stories, located in Metairie. The elevators are usually located right in front of the front desk making it impossible not to be noticed. During the day the hotels and the parking lots are usually empty, this makes it easy for hotel staff noticed people coming and going to a specific floor or room. There are many ladies I would like to meet but I pass because their ad states the incall is in Metairie. Don't want to hijack this thread but meeting at a residence is not for me either.

Excellent tip. I wish more thought like you. I like to feel like I'm not guessing where to go. When staying at the hotel, your first stop would be to the front desk. After that, you know where to go. So going to an incall, you are walking in blind without going to the front desk.

Looking like you know where you are going has to look so much better than.... uh I think I go this way... oh no... maybe this way... oh yeah... here we go...

Oh, gawd! I tried Priceline in Buffalo, and put in 3 star of better and ended up with the Adam's Mark, the hands down ICKIEST of hotels. Since I pre-paid, I couldnt get my money back, and I was there for close to 7 days because I was also visiting a friend in hospice.
There were holes in the wall, as well as mold in the bathroom and rust on the gym equipment.

I was freaken miserable.

I apologize up front since you didn't ask providers, but I 'll throw my two cent in here......

The way I look at it, I am providing my clients with an exquisite experience where they feel really cared for and comfortable and valued, so I'm pretty mindful of the hotels I books. I want the lobby and hotel to make my clients feel like a king, or at least a bad-ass knight. ;-)

If it costs me a little more, I'm ok with that, because it's creating the ambiance I want for my clients. I'd rather a client leave SUPER pleased and with his expectations exceeded than save $75. In the long run, I think every detail matters.

Hotels with outside doors are always going to be dangerous for various reasons especially in the BR/Nola area, currently the LE action is to post an officer outside of a hotel planning to be stung and take down license plates and make note of the traffic to certain rooms, then the following day, do a sting and use the increasingly popular 24hr hold on suspicion of using the hotels permission to search certain rooms. If in fact a provider is charged and found guilty, they can issue warrants to individuals by license plate at a later date. Another issue is of course Pimp issues, Previous attention the room has gotten before u arrive, can sometimes get you in hot water not because of you, but the 25 before you. Most outside door hotels are a haven for low end and pimp-n-hoe shows and are watched and busted frequently by LE. Pimps dont take their 15yr old runaways to 4 star hotels, too easy for the girl to get away and a 28yr old black guy with a young underage white girl kinda stands out.

The reasons why guys like outside door hotels are the exact reason le likes to watch and bust them, so in fact you are playing right into their hand. High end hotels tend to mind their own business more as well, they dont want to make a mistake and report the police chiefs daughter as a hooker because she just cheated on her hsuband in their hotel. They also tend to believe that "hookers" dont use 4 star hotels. We have and do use some 3 star hotels but rest assured we have our reasons, and it is not to save a few dollars. If a provider is concerned with saving 40 dollars on a cheap low end while asking a high end rate, i would be concerned about other things she may be skimping on, like cheap condoms, cleaning supplies, hygene products? For goodness sakes people, if you are charging 250 an hour and worried about spending 120 on a room, you are in the wrong business, time to retire. no offense but even a "light" provider works 3hrs a day, 750 a day you shouldnt be worried about 120 for a room. Ever seen the havoc bed bugs can make on a providers skin? not worth saving 40 bucks, take a blacklight with you next time you are at the motel 6 and see how that sits with your tummy lol.

These guys are paying top dollar and you expect them to treat you better than a pimped out hoe then make sure you offer something more. When we began here the top rate was 200/hr and very little has changed by way of condom prices, rooms etc, so thats why we decided to put the rate back, it really is crazy seeing some of the rates providers are asking for non-gfe services and then complaining about ncns and bad reviews, if you charge top dollar you should be held to a higher standard of providing, if you fail to give it, then you should be told. If you want to use a 50 dollar hotel, then make sure you are charging what other ladies at the 50 dollar hotel are, I believe the going BP rate is 45 Dolla to make you Holla.

A quality provider shouldnt skimp on what she offers in the way of comfort or serivces, if you want a T-bone, you dont go to McDonalds to get it. A steak at Ruth Chris for 50 is the same one at Roadhouse for 25, its the ambiance that makes them upscale not the cows ass they took the steak from. Vagina is Vagina, wanna charge more for yours? They make sure you put it on a real plate and offer silverware not on a plastic one with a spork.

{like I said before....I have 9 times out of ten times,been able to get a really nice 3 or 4 star hotel at the 2 star price} {I just paid 45 dollars to stay at a top notch 4 star hotel in Dallas!}
