Prior to a possible move, I do have one observation:

This is "The Sandbox-Houston"

and...........

"The Sandbox is a collection of off-topic discussions. Humorous threads, Sports talk, and a wide variety of other topics can be found here. If it's NOT hobby-related, then you're in the right place!"

Just sayin'......................

You could call it "Abandon All Hope, Ye who Enter Here" and just let it go un-moderated. Just to keep this shit out of Sandbox.
I love a good political debate; this just isn't the place I want to have it.
Because of this.

As I said previously, it does not present a problem for me one way or the other!

"As a student of history, I also know civilization's debt to Islam. It was Islam – at places like Al-Azhar University – that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe's Renaissance and Enlightenment. It was innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra; our magnetic compass and tools of navigation; our mastery of pens and printing; our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed. Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires; timeless poetry and cherished music; elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality."

Obama’s Speech in Cairo, delivered on June 4, 2009.

GW Bush is a joke. Anyone looking like Alfred E. Neuman (Billy Saul's avatar) is bound to be a f*ck up! Mentally and socially.

Anyone see the resemblance?

He never won the election but stole it with his little cronies.

And what does "Obama’s Speech in Cairo, delivered on June 4, 2009" have to do with George W. Bush being through with politics? Just sayin'......

"Decision Points" is a good read. He admits his mistakes and tells us what he wishes he had done differently. He did his job by relying on his principles, takes responsibility for the consequences and credits those around him for helping him make tough decisions.
Look at Bush's 2000 campaign platform then look at the reality of what he was forced to deal with. Leaders lead. They lead by example and by rallying those that may not like him in order to achieve the greater good.
25 years from now will history judge Bush as harshly as it does Carter or with the reverence that it does Reagan? Only time will tell

Chicagoboy you got it wrong. Your post is a caricature of Obama. Wiggy's post is comparing picture.

And + 1 to bigtex's last post.

Is this suppose to be a knock on Obama? He is correct you know. What a lot of people do not realize is that the world of Islam is HUGE. Just like in the Judeo-Christian world there are a large number of sects. Most, if not all of the violence comes from a few secs. Other secs such as the ones lead by the Aga Kahn are peaceful and we never hear about them and the work they do because they concentrate on issues in health, education, rural development and the environment. The code of Hammurabi is one of the earliest codes of law; written around 1800 B.C came from the area that is modern day Iran.
