This is a small lie by Obama. We need to spending time on the much larger lies he has told and is telling. This one is just fun, and it is fun to watch the libs go berserk over even a minor lie. But c'mon, there are dangerous lies out there that need to be addressed.

I have an idea that he was NOT "un-shouldering his shotgun."

Now, since it's an "over and under" is there an expert in the house who can explain the discharge off to the starboard side that has a similar "gas cone" shape as that escaping the muzzle?

If Saddam was so fucking innocent, Little Blind Boy, why the hell did Slick Willie the Perjuring Sexual Predator make war on Iraq in 1998? Could it be that Saddam's lying and conniving and his continuous violation of the terms of U.N. dictates was just cause for Slick Willie the Perjuring Sexual Predator's attack, or was Slick Willie the Perjuring Sexual Predator merely trying to cover up an illicit and regulatory forbidden tryst with an impressionable, subordinate government employee?

What do you have to say about that?

Nothing?

It may be there to steady the shotgun, but I'm not sure.

If memory serves (going back 30 years), the Czechs used to make an AK-47 that had a small flange on the lower left side of the muzzle that kept the rifle aligned when firing on automatic. The AK-47 would kick up and to the right when fired. The flange was positioned so that the expanding gases discharged at the end of the barrel pressed the flange down and to the left. That counteracted the kick of the AK-47. That was fairly important firing on auto, maybe not so important firing one shot at a time

The gas discharge from the shotgun might do something similar. You aren't going to shot a shotgun on automatic. But maybe every little bit helps. if the gas keeps the barrel better aligned, the operator doesn't have to do as much re-aiming on the next shot because the barrel is not as far off.

Stevie I would call you an ignorant bastard but I have to show some respect to your mother. George Bush "started" two unnecessary wars??? Have you heard of 9/11, the Taliban, and Afghanistan? That war was started by Usama Bin Laden and not George Bush. You can make a point about Iraq but you have to admit that EVERY intelligence service in the world said that Hussein had weapons of mass destruction (which are now in Syria), he supported terrorism (he had training camps in the desert and gave aid to Abu Nidal, and he had violated the cease fire agreement with the US. I can also point out and insist that you admit that John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, and John Edwards also voted for the war.

Why did you bring up the stupid comment about hijackers, 9/11, and Iraq? I don't recall Colin Powell or George Bush saying anything of the sort. It was the left that started that stupid comment. It has nothing to do with the truth.

As for the shotgun photo, the temperature that day was over 90 degrees, dry, humid, and with a slight breeze. I would hope that the official photographer would know to use a high enough speed to avoid the blur from an impact but I am very leery of this delayed photo. If they had it then what took them so long to produce it? Someone can change their clothes and might on a very hot day but if he shoots all the time then how about some pictures where his face is clearly visible. The logic is that if they have this one then they have many more.

I have to go now, I'm getting an outcall from Stevie's mother this evening.

As for the smoke; magna porting is where holes are put in the barrel to channel muzzle gas to the top in order to reduce muzzle climb. However, I have never heard of it on a shotgun, only pistols.

You're far too familiar with "douche bags", MasterDickMuncher. Why is that? Is a douche bag your choice of vessels for your Kool Aid, and do you ingest that orally or through anal absorption -- or alternate while you watch Retching Madcow?

"Over and under" ... no semi-auto, no pump, ...2 rounds and reload.

I've shot skeet with a double side-by-side and an over & under. 12 & 20.

No gas release. No need.

Also, that's no plume from a 1st shot, if he missed or is shooting doubles, because his angle is not a 2nd shot angle on clay either a 2nd shot after a miss or a 2nd shot at doubles. Done both .. He would have to be on an embankment above the traps.

Little Stevie, stand to be corrected ....

After seeing your illustration I found a Remington 396 OU with "gas holes" on the right side looking down barrell ... and the 396 has a similar muzzle treatment as the shotgun he is firing. Well not quite.

Although I will stand by the "need" ... never had any and wasn't a problem.

How do you know? It sure looks like a plume from the side of the barrel. If not, what do you think it is?

Also, how do we know he is not taking target practice at a bullseye in front of him?

Does the article say that he is shooting at skeet, right that very second, in the photo?

It could be like going golfing but first hitting a few balls at the driving range to warm up.

See above. I don't know. I wasn't standing there with him! The questions are raised because of the timing of the photo and the fact that nothing has been reported of his shooting until now. I'm glad he shoots. Whether its clay or terrorists.

Yes, according to the White House press secretary, this photo was taken of Obama skeet shooting.

All I know is, without needing to delve deeply into photoshopping and scheduling conspiracies, I laughed when I saw the picture. If he was skeet shooting, then he would have missed by a mile, his stance is wrong, and he's holding the shotgun wrong. In short, he looks like an idiot who doesn't know what he's doing.

Now that I think about it, the photo is actually a rather good metaphor of his Presidency as a whole.

Like I said, where are the others? If I came out and said that I had crazy sex with a bunch of Hollywood people at an orgy you would all laugh. I wait two weeks and come up with one photo that shows a naked actress on the couch and what I claim is my finger up her cooch. Wouldn't you ask if there were all those people there and had multiple sex partners (he shoots skeet all the time) then were are the other photos?

its a choke tube, vents compressed air from shell ignition, reduces recoil ...

incidently, there are gorund traps that throw clay pidgeons (straight away shots) as well as tower traps that throw clays left to right ... as for ground traps, breaking clays as soon as they leave the the trap puts the angle of the gun barrel about head high ,, the further the clay gets for a ground trap, the higher the barrel angle thus the more difficult it is to hit ... anyone thats actually ever shot clays knows that ..

youre welcome.
