Crime isn't something that more police can solve. You remember reading about Berlin after the war? A giant wall with armed guards didn't stop the 'criminals' trying to escape. Only changing the overall picture stopped that. Crime is an effect of society. You can point to where the crime is and try to stop it, but it will come back like a fungus. The only true way to solve crime is to address it from the societal level.
If wages were higher, healthcare free-er, and people's standard of living higher, then people would not need to default to crime. Yes there are always outliers, but that's the general rule of thumb.

Bullshit. All one has to do is to look at the crime rates in the 75 cities where the soft on crime Soros/libtard prosecutors are and compare those rates to cities who take crime seriously and you will see there is a tremendous difference
When you refuse to prosecute criminals or just put them back out on the street with no bail or a slap on the wrist, there is no deterrent.
Did you even bother to read the article about Gascon in LA
Nearly 98% of Los Angeles Prosecutors Vote to Recall Soros-backed District Attorney George Gascón because ‘Gascón began a massive social experiment by redirecting prosecutorial resources away from enforcing the law’
98% of the ADA's who work for this piece of shit think he is terrible because he is not letting them do their job and he is putting criminals back on the street causing the crime rates to surge
Or did you even bother to read the article about Kasner in Philly.
The data shows that D.A. Krasner is taking a soft-on-crime stance. Under his administration, prosecutions of gun crime have plummeted even as arrests have soared. In the years before D.A. Krasner took office, 2014 to 2017, data from the Philadelphia district attorney’s office shows that the average number of dismissed or withdrawn firearms possession cases was 273 (2019). However, from 2018 to 2020 the average has shot up to 426. In 2021, with only three-fourths of the year having passed, the count of dismissed/withdrawn firearms possession cases sits at over 600. It is relatively the same for violent offenses: 2021’s number of dismissed or withdrawn cases for violent offenses is predicted to be the highest in years.
Hell the former libtard Mayor of Philly has called out Krasner for being soft on crime.
But you keep closing your eyes to realty and just keep regurgitating whatever the DNC tell you instead of looking at the actual facts

OOOPs - more facts that will make the libtards heads explode
Soros-backed D.A. Gascon loses big in court after being sued by own attorneys
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón cannot prohibit prosecutors from seeking sentencing enhancements for defendants under the state’s “three-strikes” law, the California Second District Court of Appeal ruled Thursday, June 2.
The court’s opinion affirms a 2021 preliminary injunction issued by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James C. Chalfant, who ruled that Gascón’s three-strikes enhancement ban is illegal and violates the rights of prosecutors.
“The district attorney overstates his authority,” the appellate court said, concurring with the lower court ruling. “He is an elected official who must comply with the law, not a sovereign with absolute, unreviewable discretion.”
.
.
The injunction follows a lawsuit filed by the Association of Deputy District Attorneys, which argued that a series of controversial directives issued by Gascón immediately after taking office are unlawful and violate prosecutorial discretion.
.
.
Eric Siddall, vice president of the ADDA, said the appellate court ruling validates the union’s argument that Gascón’s blanket directives are an abuse of power.
“Today, the Court gave a civics lesson to George Gascón. He must follow the law,” he said. “He must respect the separation of powers. His power is not absolute. The ADDA wishes we did not need to seek judicial intervention to affirm these basic principles of our government, but our hand was forced by the illegal actions taken by Mr. Gascón. So, while today represents a great day for the rule of law, it is a stain on Gascón’s legacy.”
.
.
“Allowing his illegal practices to continue would have devastating consequences for crime victims and public safety in Los Angeles and beyond. The citizens of Los Angeles deserve to have a district attorney who will enforce the law; not one who seeks to dismantle and destroy public safety.”

Once again you can't address the subject of the thread because the facts are clearly not on your side - so you try to hijack the thread and you spread lies about "extremist news" which is laughable.
Stay on topic

At the bare minimum, I'm not unironically linking to obviously made up news, by news companies who's goal is to keep feeding fake news to people who are rabid for it. 1984 stuff. Everyone is believing everything they see, no matter how extreme it is, because they have been conditioned into accepting it.

If it was made up news, by extremist news companies, it would be easy for you to present evidence to refute. Yet you can't refute a damn thing. You just cry fake news and post lies about it when there are articles for ABC, CBS, and others all saying the same thing.
You blatantly lied about telegram links
All you have done is post lies about this subject because the facts are not on your side.
Perhaps you will enjoy this article - you know from those extremist MSNBC news Hosts:
MSNBC Hosts Warns Progressive DAs Are Ignoring Quality of Life Issues
MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough believes that woke, progressive district attorneys have been ignoring “quality of life issues.”
San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin is expected to be recalled on Tuesday as critics have argued that he has been too lenient on crime, Mediaite reported.
“This is a fascinating debate that we’re seeing play out in San Francisco, of course and in New York City. New York Democrats elected a former NYPD cop [Eric Adams] and they elected him because of quality of life issues, they elected him because of crime,” he said. “Right now his poll numbers are low and they’re low according to a recent poll because New Yorkers still don’t feel safe.
“You look at what’s happening in Philadelphia. You look at what’s happening all across this country. There was over the past four years or so there’s been a wave of really progressive DAs,” the host said.
“And what’s so fascinating is the debate inside the Democratic Party because, you know, some people will say that support progressive DAs, ‘well the crime rates aren’t that different,’ but on the ground that is just, again talking about feeling, that’s not what New Yorkers, that’s not what people in Philadelphia, that’s not what a lot of people in San Francisco are feeling,” he said. “They feel like quality of life issues have been ignored by the city for the past couple of years. And we’re going to see how that plays out in San Francisco. One of the more Progressive places in America.”
Willie Geist, who was cohosting the show, said that crime rates in San Francisco “objectively have been” bad.
“You ask anybody who lives there despite some the protests that the DA hear about crime rates and everything else. When you walk out in the street of San Francisco, people who live there, feel it,” the cohost said. “They see open **** use, they see homelessness, they see mental illness right where they live and they want something done about it. And there’s been a lenience toward those kind of issues.”
“In New York, you have the D.A. (Alvin Bragg) who pushed up against the mayor, Mayor Adams, and had to walk back some of the things he said on the campaign trail, for example, about treating gun crimes as misdemeanors in some cases. Had to say, ‘Now that I think about it, now that I hear your protests, those will be treated as felonies,’” he said. “There is a push from social justice sort-of warrior DAs and mayors, like Mayor Adams, a former New York City police officer, trying to get back quality of life to the city which is why by and large he was elected.”

I guess onawbtngr546 and rmg think this is all fake too. Just another article exposing their lies, this one from the far left NY Times
Voters in San Francisco topple the city’s progressive district attorney, Chesa Boudin.
SAN FRANCISCO — Voters in San Francisco on Tuesday put an end to one of the country’s most pioneering experiments in criminal justice reform, ousting a district attorney who eliminated cash bail, vowed to hold police accountable and worked to reduce the number of people sent to prison.
Chesa Boudin, the progressive district attorney, was removed after two and a half years in office, according to The Associated Press, in a vote that is set to reverberate through Democratic politics nationwide as the party fine-tunes its messaging on crime before midterm elections that threaten to strip Democratic control over Congress.
Ultimately the election was a contest between progressive Democrats who saw Mr. Boudin as a key leader of a national movement to address mass incarceration and a backlash by more politically moderate San Franciscans — a coalition of Democrats, independents and Republicans — who grew agitated by persistent property crimes and open **** use during the pandemic. The backlash won.
Locally, the recall suggested that many in San Francisco’s Democratic hierarchy are out of step — and further left — than the city’s voters, one of the most liberal electorates in the country.
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/07/u...francisco.html
For those libtards who can't comprehend what this says or mean - the libtards in the MOST LIBERAL shithole city in the country just recalled / ousted the soft on crime DA in their city tonight because his policies have caused crime to surge and made the city unsafe
Boudin, who was raised by communist terrorists, benefited from Soros money in his election campaign in 2019 and faced widespread criticism for what opponents called a soft-on-crime approach. The successful recall campaign began in the summer of 2021, and was led by former San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee chair Mary Jung. Boudin failed to prosecute enough criminals committing crimes like burglary, car thefts and murder, and releasing repeat offenders from jail who went on to commit additional crimes.

You mean the news places claiming Trumps collusion with Russia, or, the ones that said that Hunters laptop was a Russian plant?

Notice Salty how once their lies about "made up news by extremist news companies" was exposed they ran away from the thread.
I asked them if this story was so fake, it would be easy for them to present evidence to refute. Yet they couldn't refute a damn thing. There are stories from ABC, CBS, MSNBC, NY Times and others all in this thread reporting essentially the same facts as my original post.
onawbtngr546 lied about telegram links. Otherwise he could easily link to them
It's quite pathetic that is the type of things they have to resort to when they know the real facts make libtards (like in this case Soros and his 75 soft on crime libtard DAs) look terrible. Why not just admit the facts, like the voters in San Fran did yesterday?

Yesterday Senile Biden traveled to Soros bought and paid for soft-on-crime DA George Gascon’s Los Angeles where murders are on pace to EXCEED the 15-year high set last year
Violent crime up 7.2%
Robberies up 18.5%
Property crimes up 11.4%
Burglaries up 8%
Car thefts up 13.1%
Does Senile Biden back Gascon?

Soros-backed Prosecutors are a scourge of our legal system, born of pure ignorance and hatred of law-abiding Americans: Pennsylvania lawmakers move to impeach liberal Philly DA Krasner: 'He's completely lost his mind'
Pennsylvania state lawmakers are moving to impeach Philadelphia's far-left District Attorney Larry Krasner as the crime surge continues to plague city streets.
Republican State Representatives Tim O'Neal, Josh Kail, and Torren Ecker detailed the effort to oust Krasner, and why they are confident the move will garner bipartisan support.
"We want to highlight the dereliction of duty that we've seen from this district attorney," Kail told "Fox & Friends First" co-host Todd Piro. "Lives have been lost, property has been destroyed, and really families have been crushed. Enough is enough. And we need to do something, and we need to get back to the basics in this commonwealth and in this nation."
"Really, we need to get back to law and order," he continued. "Chaos has had too much of a reign in Philadelphia, and it's time to stop it."
The trio's effort comes shortly after San Francisco voters successfully recalled former DA Chesa Boudin with 61% of voters wanting him out. He was facing scrutiny over the city's exploding homeless population and rampant rise in violent crime.
"He's completely lost his mind," Ecker said. "The people of the city aren't backing him. Former leaders of the city, current leaders of the city, have called for… him to step in and start prosecuting crimes."
